Because he was winking at them when he was telling them "no".

I think you're thinking of Paxton?

That wasn’t winking, that’s just how he looks.

Texas loves voting in people who literally don’t have a single care for what their constituents want.

Ted Cruz? Abbott? Paxton? It’s like a contest over who is more corrupt.

Can’t wait for that polar vortex to hit and Texans being “caught unprepared”….again.

Texas state government doesnt care about its citizens and will lie to them with reckless abandon. If the voters never hold them accountable, what pressure is there for them to change? Too many in that state care only about Guns and Gawd that they will literally give up everything to further those beliefs.

“Pause” that was political theater. If he wins it will back to business as usual

Well, it’s nice to have confirmation at least. You know. That it was a lie. Not surprising. Expected even. But it’s still nice to know for sure.

Of course they did. Both NVIDIA and AMD have offices here in Austin. So do Google, Meta, Dell, Apple, IBM, Oracle, Samsung, and Tesla.

Sneaky sneaky. So no moratorium? If you haven’t voted yet this should make you think twice about this Trumper governor. .1% of the population isn’t the problem. Sex change operations for minors is fake. He’s already cashed the checks.

So he lied, what a goddamn surprise

It's more, he got caught lying, which is less common. It was unusual for him to make the statement in the first place. Who knew it would be the dems with the October surprises.

a “pause” that doesn’t stop the permits is just political theater with better branding lol
