No Paywall Trump brings a last-minute rally boost to Darline Graham in South Carolina’s US Senate race

If Darline Graham manages to lose that seat to Annie Andrews it will be both glorious and the funniest thing to happen in this election.

If Darline wins, South Carolina is a fucking joke.
Dr. Annie Andrews is a slam dunk of a candidate.
Darline is a literal nepobaby and nobody is hiding it.

Indeed, but South Carolina electing a Dem in a statewide election would be absolutely fucking wild.

It would be respectable.
That’s it.
If these people have any goddamn self-respect, they will vote for a doctor over “some asshole’s sister”.
If they really can’t bring themselves to do that because there isn’t an R next to her name, they’re not Americans, as far as I’m concerned.

There are so many races right now with completely despicable people running against someone who is, at worst, a decent person. The fact that these races are so close is a grim reflection on who we are as a country.

Hey I get it, I live in South Carolina and I understand your sentiment. I think much of the state is the opposite of great. If I didn’t love the city I live in I wouldn’t live in SC.
That said calling SC a joke simply because they don’t elect a democrat is an odd notion. There’s almost no (I say no) way for her to beat a republican. Sure I see her signs but again I live in a pocket of somewhat like minded people. Drive 20 minutes and you’re not seeing the same thing. People around here love Trump and will do anything he says. I don’t understand it but it’s reality.

ah yes the swing state of South Carolina

I know it’s unlikely. I’m upstate SC which is very conservative except for a tiny little bubble of blue. It’s changed but not by a lot. In the last few months even the diehard Trumpists are laughing are ridiculing the GOP has become. The only reason they have to vote for Darlene is because she is not a Democrat. I am hopeful though.

So this writer, with the APN news, it's completely oblivious to the fact that that vile piece of shit in the White House it's not a boost for anybody. Everything he is touching has been failing just like his rotting brain.

“I’m running for the legacy of my brother! I will build on the things he did!”
Trump removes the final piece legislation that Graham worked on
“I’m running for the legacy of my brother!”

Wild to have the audacity to campaign for someone immediately on the heels of wiping your ass with their late sibling's (rot in piss) legacy.

At this point I think he's just exploiting the midterms to feed his thirsty, thirsty ego
