We know. It's obvious to anyone with functioning senses who is paying even minimal attention.

•

u/Equal-Temporary-1326 5h ago

And to people who know Trump and the government very deliberately lie to the public very confidently about the state of his health on a routine basis.

•

u/11Kram 4h ago

He could identify a picture of a giraffe recently. Nailed it immediately. Surely that counts for something?

•

u/omniverso 3h ago

Look at how they handled Mitch McConnell being absent for three months and then coming back as a vegetable. The enablers are working around the clock at this point to keep the illusion of democracy afloat.

•

u/Exciting_Problem_593 1h ago

Who will be casting Mitch's vote? I'm concerned.

•

u/Freakboy5001 1h ago

Same people as always the corporations

•

u/mandelbratwurst 2h ago

Clearly that means he should be entitled to break the constitution and be president for yet another term! Surely Biden could never have identified a Giraffe!

•

u/Turtledonuts Virginia 3h ago

Yeah let’s see him recall a word the next day.

•

u/Effective_Quail_3946 12m ago

Yes, yes it does.

•

u/jazzieberry Mississippi 4h ago

As Bob Dylan said, "don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows"

•

u/Superb-Wait-4003 4h ago

at this point you have to wonder how much more obvious it needs to get before people stop pretending nothing is wrong

•

u/Due_Bluebird3562 3h ago

People like to be contrarian regarding his health. Especially on Reddit where whenever you spot his dementia addled bullshit some poster will immediately hit you with "he always sounds like that" or "his dad lived til 93" as retorts.

•

u/hukep 6h ago

It'd be funny, if he wasn't the US president.

•

u/IntelligentStyle402 5h ago

Isn’t this exactly what Megas voters wanted? Chaos? Racism? Destruction? ICE intimidation? Corruption? the wealthy to become more wealthy
and more powerful and to protect their golden pig from every crime he has committed? Sadly, America is now a dirty swamp of liars, fascists, racists, sex predators, guns, tariffs and inflation. Always remember all the filthy rich who gladly accepted Epstein’s invitation to sexual predator Island. America once a shiny apple, is rotting right in front of us. America is no longer considered an intelligent, moral or an ethical country.

u/batlord_typhus 5h ago

It's the new social contract offered by capital: You can't have wages, housing or healthcare, but we will allow you to hate and have status over prescribed enemies.

•

u/LadyPo 5h ago

They did indeed. Never let anyone get away with claiming this is “not what they voted for.” Yes it is. They just wanted to have their spiteful cake and eat it, too.

If they want to change, step ONE is to own up to it.

•

u/cherrycoke00 18m ago

Seriously. Remember his like 4 day obsession with Robert Pattinson after Kristen Stewart cheating allegations came out? It was like 2011 maybe? He tweeted like 27 times - said some misogynistic bs about her, kept talking about how sexy Robert was, eventually spiraled into him begging Robert to be a judge on Miss universe.

THAT psychosis was really fucking funny. He had zero real power, very very limited fake power (only in media and even then, barely), and was just soooo unhinged about something no other 70 year old man could give two shits about. I miss those days.

•

u/User4C4C4C South Carolina 5h ago

Wondering how many people are going to get hurt before Republicans finally decide to 25th or impeach/remove him.

•

u/Colonel-Mooseknuckle 5h ago

There is absolutely nothing that will make that happen. He could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and molest a child and they would find an excuse for it.

•

u/Long_Audience4403 5h ago

"The child was dressed in a provocative manner! It was the child's fault!"

•

u/ParkingVisual3735 5h ago

That child was here illegally!

u/AnalTongueDarts Minnesota 5h ago

Vance can (could, if he didn't have all the charm of a cum-encrusted sofa) serve ten years in the oval if they get rid of Trump in late-January. They might be tempted to try so he can have two years to try to wash the stink off him before 2028.

•

u/TheGringoDingo 5h ago

I have no doubts that it’s the plan, they just can’t say it until Trump implodes the midterms and does something stupid. There are like 20 different paths for Vance to get there.

•

u/TheAskewOne 5h ago

It might be the plan, but I think that even the GOP realizes that there’s no way Vance wins a fair election. I mean he failed at ordering donuts.

•

u/Sknowles12 4h ago

Remember Theil et al will step in for Vance.

•

u/Blackthorn79 4h ago

People paint Trump as some great conman who stole the presidency. It was the oligarchs and Russia that stole it for him. Trump  did his part, but Vance will get steal 2.0 and hasn't fucked anything worst than a couch and only bankrupted his and his wife's soul. He'll be an easier sell.

•

u/Jinren United Kingdom 4h ago

the thing is if they're going to go down that route then caring about the constitutional limitation seems a little irrelevant

so, never been convinced this is really an intentional play although it might be tactically useful to have

•

u/tadayou 3h ago

Yeah, but also maybe it helps that Vance is the protégé of one of the world's richest people who is heavily involved in worldwide security infrastructure and is also heavily prepping for the end times.

•

u/Jinren United Kingdom 4h ago
  1. at least some dems are upset by this

  2. therefore it is a partisan issue

  3. therefore we support it

•

u/windwatcher01 4h ago

There are people among this group that denied COVID was real literally unto their dying breath. That revelatory moment you're waiting for ain't happening.

•

u/piney 5h ago

They won’t do anything until they’re the ones getting hurt.

•

u/Sedu 4h ago

They have been convinced that Trump is protecting them from Democrats, and that without him, things would be worse. Their brains are eaten entirely by worms.

•

u/fireeight 5h ago

They already have been hurt. All that matters is that someone who they believes is lower is being hurt worse.

•

u/TheRealBejeezus 4h ago

January 6? Even the congresspeople who were chased or attacked ended up supporting him again.

•

u/RagnarStonefist 3h ago

Hitler had loyalty from many of his people right up until the end. The war wasn't over until he was dead, Berlin was in ruins and somebody else took over to surrender.

•

u/Made_Human_Music 5h ago

Unless he hurts them personally they don’t care what he does. And even then there’s a good chance they’ll be ok with being hurt themselves because Dear Leader must never be questioned

•

u/Butterfly_and_Bee 3h ago

Once the dems are in power, many republicans will go along because they have someone to blame.

•

u/Worst_Support 1h ago

they might be waiting until january 20th just so that vance could hypothetically finish trump's term, win in 2028, and still be eligible to run in 2032

assuming of course that vance can win despite being a wet towel

•

u/PM_UR_Sexy_boots 4h ago

I wonder how many other folk will die through misadventures while celebrating the obituary

•

u/DigiSmackd 1h ago

IF he finally crossed the line of any semblance of sanity, it won't be any sort of day of reckoning for anyone.

He'll be a bit of a martyr. He'll be their hero who gave all his time, energy, money, and health to trying to fix America! He'll be their icon who beat everyone except father time. He'll be the sad old savior and we should all come together and be kind and respectful because getting old happens to all of us. And what kind of cold hearted, hateful, evil person says bad things about a sick old man?!

And then on to the next.

•

u/vahntitrio Minnesota 1h ago

The people that have to invoke the 25th never will because it is their last chance at holding any power by staying in the cabinet.

•

u/tayswampflorida 1h ago

Do you really want vance in charge?

It's years of mental abuse via Faux "news"

•

u/sodontstopnow 2h ago

Dude- Reddit has more Trump articles and mentions that Faux will ever have. It’s nothing but 24/7 Trump- it’s making me avoid Reddit just have to have some internal peace & sanity- to go without seeing or hearing about this dude every waking minute is my new nirvana.

•

u/Acceptable-Bus-2017 I voted 2h ago

Right, because reddit is actual current events. Faux "news" is closer to Facebook is you want to compare it to a social media platform. Propoganda and outrage smut.

•

u/sodontstopnow 1h ago

lol every news channel and social media platform is propaganda and outrage smut- almost positive it’s the business model for clicks. Reddit like Faux has its own list of terribleness but that’s a different story for a different thread. Hopefully there will be a day when it isn’t Trump 24/7, dear lord am I praying for it.

•

u/artsyhipsterKratos 4h ago

Honestly this is why we are even still talking about it. Bad people and crazy people are everywhere. Always have been. But to have a bunch of bad, crazy, stupid people circle the wagons en masse around a particular bad, stupid, crazy person is really something to behold. It’s like a really fucked up once in a lifetime celestial event.

•

u/nezumipi 4h ago

The headline is mixing up "psychotic" and "psychopath". The text of the article says he is a psychopath, which is correct.

Psychopath and psychotic are not the same thing. They're both bad to have in a president, but they are completely different. A psychopath hurts others without remorse, lacks empathy, is impulsive and irresponsible. A person who is psychotic has hallucinations and delusions. (And for "delusions" I don't mean stupid irrational political beliefs. I don't even mean serious memory lapses. I mean, "there are rats in my brain and they steal my dreams" kind of crazy.)

Psychopath = badness

Psychosis = madness

•

u/Johnny_Oro 1h ago

To be fair Trump is 100% both.

•

u/Automatic-Essay2175 43m ago

I loathe him but he demonstrates no evidence of psychosis.

•

u/Johnny_Oro 10m ago

He's said a lot of things that are very likely symptoms of dementia-related psychosis. And just a couple days ago there's a footage of him waving and saluting at a nonexistent crowd and wandering off aimlessly.

•

u/zipthai 1h ago

You see the rats too??

•

u/_iamacat 1h ago

Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room. A rubber room with rats. And rats make me crazy.

•

u/duzies 1h ago

Was about to say the same thing, although Trump seems to be kind of a mix between psychopath and sociopath. He is impulsive and reactive, shows certain emotions like narcissistic rage, and can form bonds like with people like Epstein and Putin. But other than that, he's pretty much textbook psychopath. I guess technically it's all considered antisocial personality disorder though.

•

u/saurus83 10m ago

Yes why do people and articles constantly mix this up.

Psychosis is a madness of the mind.
Psychopathy is a madness of the heart.

•

u/Rush-23 5h ago

The title says psychotic and the article is about him being psychopathic. Those are different things.

To be fair, he’s probably both.

•

u/chelicerate-claws 4h ago

It's Daily Beast, their articles are constant garbage to the point that I think they should be banned from this sub. Surprised the headline isn't "Trump SLAMMED for Being Psychotic."

Agreed on him being both though.

•

u/DeezNutsButterNJelly 4h ago

This kind of absolute horseshit in this article is exactly why the views expressed throughout this thread will never be taken seriously (without serious change in the type of journalism allowed here). We need to change what’s allowed on this sub right now.

Donald Trump is a “puppet” to psychopathic traits that are likely to become even more dangerous if Republicans suffer a bruising defeat in next month’s midterm elections, a leading clinical psychologist has warned.

Dr Vincent Greenwood, director of the Washington Center for Cognitive Therapy, also believes the president’s danger is underestimated and warrants invoking the 25th Amendment.

Speaking to the Daily Beast, he said Trump exhibits clinical psychopathy, characterized by three particularly destructive traits: impulsivity, remorselessness and an intense drive to dominate.

“These traits are ominous—every one of them,” said Greenwood, who has conducted more than 1,700 psychological evaluations and has been studying Trump for years.

“The clinical psychopath is just unable to grapple with any thorny or difficult issue. They’re radically disinhibited and very impulsive, which is not a good fit for a commander in chief.

The comorbid and dangerous portrayal of dementia doesn't appear to be added into this discussion.

•

u/Maoleficent 3h ago

And yet nothing will happen. In fact, the Felon's pals are calling Putin a humanitarian. The Secretary CheeseDick of War is preparing to use more military hardware against civilians (a heat ray that reaches almost a mile).

The Felon is a distraction - the clown at the rodeo - it is Miller, Bannon Kushner, et al that are pulling the strings.

Donald Trump rapes children and assaults women.

Sure Trump has his faults - he's a perpetual liar, a fraudster, a Russian agent, a proven rapist, a crook, a cheat, a traitor - but we have to remember that we're all human. We all have our weaknesses and failings.

Nobody's perfect.

No serious medical professional diagnoses people remotely and no serious publication publishes such nonsense.

Sorry, I know you hate Trump (as you should, you don't hate him near enough, in fact) but unserious nonsense for social media clicks isn't the remedy to the predicament. In no small part, it is the predicament.
