At this point, it's not a question of if Vivek loses, it's a question of by how much.

Its Ohio man. I keep telling myself he just ended his chances right? Then I remember they elected Vance for senate and keep putting gym Jordan in there.

Neither of those guys are brown skinned. Vivek would be a runaway lock if it weren’t for that. It’s the one MAGA trait he may not be able to overcome.

True, but there's a surprising number of people who vote every cycle that have no idea what the person they're voting for looks like or what their views are. They just see that little (R) next to the name and full in the bubble.

I mean... He doesn't have a traditionally white name either.

Reminder that in Michigan, a literal WITHDRAWN CANDIDATE won over the Trump endorsee because his name was Amir Hasan. The dude who was won was Thomas Smith and he got over 50% of the vote. After withdrawing.

But the (R) is followed by the name Ramaswamy, and there are at least tens of MAGA voters that know how to read before racially profiling a candidate.

Yes but there are enough who’d care about the name.

He has a funny name too.

Vivek was told to his face, by maga voters, that they wouldn’t vote for him because he’s "an Indian".

That part is very true. He is brown and has a foreign sounding name. He can never truly be part of the club

Bro really thinks he has the same privilege as white republicans. It’s actually fascinating how he somehow avoids conservative spaces which, in my experience, invariably get super racist.

How dare you suggest he isn’t one of the good ones 😈

To be fair, they gerrymandered and twisted Gyms district more than a bowl of speghetti to effectively guarantee he will never lose

The fun thing about gerrymadering is that it always relies reliable thin margins. As soon as those margins dissappear it tends to very decisively go in the undesired direction

To be fair, jordons district is gerrymandered to hell.

I'm guessing he probably did screw himself here with that ad, combined with him having an uphill climb with republicans due to his parents being immigrants.

Yes, there are many Ohioans who’d vote for a soulless billionaire, but there are fewer Ohioans who’ll vote for a soulless billionaire who is Indian.

You new here? He absolutely has a chance.

If you're ever expecting Ohio to do the right thing, prepare for disappointment.

She's up by a few percent in a state that hasn't had a Dem governor in decades. Far from a done deal.

I want to believe. I want to believe this to the core of my being. I, however, have lost all hope for humanity. I don't believe this will sway voters away from Vivek. I hope I am wrong.

It’s Ohio, I guarantee it’s going to be uncomfortably close at best and he still manages to win at worst.
