i give obama a lot of grief, but it is super helpful political coverage for him to be saying this. could always use more, and more forceful language, but it helps politicians on the left when a pretty centrist party leader like obama says this.

No it isn't it's cowardly. 30,000 children murdered. Let's stop with the nuance. This statement is gutless.

There should be absolutely no one ok with what Israel has done... even if they're pro-Israel.

he’s always been pretty gutless, so i’m surprised he said this tbh

He morphs to popular opinion while playing it safe at the same time. Not surprising but I get what you mean.

He made a big deal being against gay marriage, until it become popular he flipped. (Obv. I'm glad he did switch.)

We kind of thought he was electorally wise but a progressive underneath, and we were wrong.

It's crazy a President I call gutless, cowardly and hypocritical is still the best President of my lifetime and best person too. sigh.

Read “Differ We Must.” Lincoln was the same way.

Edit: Lincoln was “viewed” the same way. They both knew their limitations. Only pushed an ideal when they knew they could win.

Eh, Lincoln was always against slavery he was keeping the Union together and preventing it's spread. He didn't really change his mind about it nor did he hold back when talking about it. He spoke out against it in 1837 as injustice... until he became President.

Obama's views on Israel and Gay Marriage and using drones, did a 180.
