So many Republican apologists in this thread. The situation we are in is what the Republican party has been working towards for decades. I'd hazard that they've been at it for longer than most people in here have been alive, myself included. There has never been a point in our lives where the Republican party wasn't aiming to disenfranchise us. If they never get a voice again, we are better off.

That snake Roger Stone has literally been working towards this since the Nixon administration. Not by himself of course, but yes this has been decades in the making.

The Republican Party needs to be disbanded if we ever get out of this. Replace the two party system with ranked choice voting and hopefully a way to keep far-right wing conservatives out of national gov't for good.
