Remember when this was the conspiracy everyone had for his first run. He'd tank it intentionally and start a TV network?

It wasn't a conspiracy, it was the actual plan. He bought up a ton of studio equipment but then he won and nothing came of it.

This. He was "soft launching" by having Trump TV branding at the bottom of some of his videos released late in 2016.
