He wants to be a dictator so bad. To live in his fragile little bubble of wimpy masculinity.

Considering how popular "run the government as a business" is as a sentiment I think dictatorship has far more support than people generally think, including people who think they value freedom and democracy

Oh yes, the bootlickers always think that they'll be the "company lifer", somehow, yet they never consider that they're seen as line items and overhead to be cut and replaced as soon as possible.

Also it's stupid even on a surface level. I've seen people support it because they believe/claim that their vote has no real power. As little power as we may individually feel we have over the inner workings of Congress with our votes, I guarantee we have far less control over the actions of Nestlé or Coca Cola or Amazon.

Dictators are fragile wimps. They’re compensating.

Strangely prescient: Trump Tech Requests https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2PIco48G4k

Tech worker: I've created an internet that's just for him, only he has access to it. When he goes to the internet he will see everything that he wants to see.

Natalie Harper: That's a great idea! . . . But, uh, he wants his fake internet to be the real internet. Thanks!

Shamelessly blatant about it, too. Putin wouldn't even have had the gall to literally name it Putin TV.
