Story Accidentally broke the front glass of my 3500x, so I contacted Corsair to see if I could buy the glass panel because delivery wasn't available to AUS. They said the panel was unavailable but instead even though it wasn't covered by warranty sent a whole new case free of charge, including shipping.

Lian Li should take note. They do absolutely everything to get out of warranty claims. Going through one with them right now, and even when forced, they do the bare minimum. Go corsair!

Corsair has earned my loyalty. I had a k70 mk1 keyboard that would, like 5% of the time, cause my PC to take an extra 20-ish seconds to boot. Basically a non issue but I was curious about why this might be and emailed them. They didn't have an answer but offered to send me a brand new mk2 k70 to see if that would get rid of the occasional slow boots, which it did. And the craziest part is that my Mk1 was like 2 years outside of warranty at that point. Absolutely stellar CS

I think Corsair's customer support is the best in the pc sector, certainly the best I've dealt with.
So while their products are sometimes more expensive than competitors, when something goes wrong you're taken care of.

Great customer service but case makers have tons of inventory now that people aren't building computers as much.

Is the replacement case at least very close to the same as the old one? I'd be pretty upset still if the case was different enough and the OG was picked specifically

So what was the issue with just getting the glass? Do they just not have replacement panels available at all?

They do have them for 15 USD, but either they couldn't ship that one panel to Australia for some reason or they didn't have any stock

This is less about Corsair and more about how good our consumer laws are here in Australia.

And stuff like this is why when I redid my PC early this year, I went with a case with no glass side panels. Don't want to see the inside of my PC, don't want to deal with glass breakage.

Case brands should start putting warnings on boxes and glass protective films.

Companies are weird, some companies will burn bridges over $40.
Other companies will be like here a whole ass case for free bro

Corsair has the best customer service I've ever dealt with. Had a power supply go out on me. Super easy to get a replacement sent out. They paid for shipping both ways and took a total of three days from submitting the claim to having a new PSU.
