RIP to one of the most legendary studios of all time. It's a shame how they became a shell of their former selves the last decade or so. Fuck EA.

EA killed Origin, Westwood, Bullfrog and many other phenomenal studios of their time. Add Bioware (BIOWARE!?!) to the list.

I know I'm going against the hivemind but most evidence points to Bioware more or less doing themselves in. EA put them on life support but Veilguard and "early development" ME5 got them to finally pull the plug.

Origin and Bullfrog did too. Go look at their releases before EA closed the doors. Bad flop after bad flop. The Bullfrog that made Theme Hospital and Theme Park was long gone by the time EA shut them down.
