Right? Like you cannot be in early development after 6 years without making something that will either

  1. Never come out or
  2. Be terrible if it does

A shame because it's a great concept. But a new series inspired by its ideas will eventually happen, it always does.

I wouldn't be too unhappy if someone else carried the torch of mass effect the property elsewhere. I'm assuming that EA still holds all rights for those games?

After Zero Company, I would love to see a Mass Effect XCOM clone.

Chimera Squad tried to inject some of the Mass Effect formula into it and it didn't pan out all that great.

And Zero Company injected a lot of the Mass Effect formula and it worked incredibly.
