Inquisition was their last decent game. Since then smaller studios crafting better genuine role playing experiences have put out much better work. Sad to see Bioware end its life as a hollow shell of itself.

Inquisition WAS decent, i get the gripes people had, but as as someone with an MMO background, I absolutely had fun playing that one.

Andromeda was my introduction to Mass Effect, which I think made my expectation be at absolute 0, so I'd say that game was not a total letdown for me either, even though I played the trilogy after and it blew it away compared to Andromeda. I tried Anthem and it just wasn't that fun. I didn't even try Veilguard despite playing every single other Dragon Age up until then, solely because of the reviews.

Yeah I thought inquisition was actually good. I actually tried to go back and play it recently on steam, but it had some weird authentication thing that wasnt letting me play it. The games after that I didnt think looked interesting enough to buy.

Inquisition is MASSIVELY overhated, and I can not understand why. If anything DA2 seems to me like it's hated less and less with each passing year and it makes zero sense, that game is such cheap rushed trash, whereas DAI is a grandeur. It has its many mistakes and faults, for sure, but it is waaaaay overhated than it deserves to be.

And even inquisition was so cringe compared to its peers - the first Divinity had much better storytelling than Inquisition.

Yeah the only DA that holds up completely to its peers is origins for me
