I mean it is, it is also received better now than at launch. It's a wildly different game than DAO but it tells a really compelling story and the gameplay is pretty fun
I'd argue that all 3 of those games were a step down in quality from there predecessors. I remember even as a young lad thinking these games were not nearly as good as ME2 or DA1.
Really? You thought 3 was better then 2? Back in the day they had to redo the ending a release DLC to fix it. Maybe I need to replay I with fresh eyes.
Well there you go. I can understand those points of view when you put it like that. But from my perspective thats like saying "Return of the Jedi" was better then "Empire Strikes back".
Yea, it was pretty interesting to experience the shift of "best of the trilogy" with time. I still think there can be made good arguments for all 3 games to be someone's favorite. They differ enough yet deliver altogether that it is up to personal preferance.
I recently replayed all of them through the legendary collection and I enjoyed myself most with 3. Maybe on launch it wasn't as good as it is now but I believe it aged better than 1 and 2 for sure

Its funny to see an announcement celebrating 30 years of legendary games. Yet not once was released in the last 15 years.
