Dragon age went out sad. Mass effect didn't get another chance. Sad shit.

Probably for the better. Andromeda wasn't great but at least it didn't shatter the legacy like Veilguard did with Dragon Age.

2 studios are having their go at another chance at Mass effect. One of them are early Bioware devs and other studio has proven record of great RPGS. You should look into Exodus and The Expannse.

As much as I may look forward to trying those games, people don't just love the talent behind Mass Effect, they want to stay in the world itself. Which now will (likely) never happen. Two other IPs won't make it less sad.

I actually prefer leaving the trilogy alone instead of subjecting it to the Dragon Age treatment. To justify the story of Veilguard, they destroyed the entirety of southern Thedas. All the player choices made in Origins, II and Inquisition gone. It would have broken my heart if they had done the same to Mass Effect

Had no faith the current state of Bioware was equipped to make a quality ME4 anyway. Better it vanish than go through the humiliation ritual Dragon Age had to go through.
