Truly can't imagine having so little going on in your life you have time to be mad over how other people spend their hard earned money

That’s not the point. This is why the gaming industry is the way it is. You keep pouring money into unnecessary purchases, you ape!

Lol if someone buys it on release day, preload day, or a month in advance, what's the difference?

A lot of pre-orders come with special in game or real life items, which is the only justification for it IMO. I rarely pre order, but if I do it’s because of that.

When i used to pre-order id open the game, put those goodies on, and then find something in game. So those pre-order goodies lasted 5 minutes.

So i dont bother anymore.

I wait for a sale. The game has to last 6 months without my money.

One leads to dev exploitation, over priced games, the discontinuation of physical media ect. The other one doesn't.

Well, if we all wait and the first reviews come out and it's utter shit, fewer people will buy it. But if people keep pre-ordering, they can keep releasing broken crap and fix it later, because they've already made a portion of the cash upfront.

Most games have reviews come out before they even release lol. That wouldn't change anything.

And plenty of times reviews are positive even if the game has tons of legitimate issues.
