This scenario is only useful if you end up broke at release, and if you end up broke isn't it better to have money rather than a game ?

I'm bad with money and more often that not I'm broke. Rather be broke with a playable game though.

Not to be that guy, but you should really focus on not being bad with money rather than just accepting that you will be perpetually broke.
