See, this here.

Cheating in a singleplayer game is fine.

But cheating in any MP game isnt. I did not think this was a difficult concept, if I logged into Darktide and played with cheaters I would be similarly unhappy. But because these people have been negatively affected (me to, I modded my armor) they are pissed.

Skyrims a great example. I mod the shit out of that game. But if I were to play a coop mod with a friend and went in without telling him I had crazy mods and he was expecting a genuine playthrough, I'd be a fucking asshole and waste his time.

Problem with Helldivers is:

1: people already negatively affect each other by kicking and teamkilling and actually lynching people by your choices of tools on vanilla alone. 2: developers do seem to go the DbD way which does not help with number one 3:The seperation of Discord from other platforms and how many of the actual information is hidden from outside, so even people on every platform wont get some of the official info.
