Mods can affect how others enjoy the game. If I go into the highest difficulty, I do so because I enjoy the challenge. If there is no challenge because someone is just gung ho murdering everything with cheats, and perfect rewards everyt time, my experience is ruined.

It saddens me that people are too fucking stupid to realize this. It's like playing Wordle and using ChatGPT. I once had a guy in our group cheat to beat Dark Souls 3 then brag about beating it.

I'm thoroughly convinced people use mods and cheats to show off to other people.

Nah, those are really important QOL issues and max difficulty is piss easy as it is on vanilla.

I was under the impression they commented I replied to were talking about cheats, I don’t have any problem with qol mods or mods with a group that’s okay with it

Y'all want to have the craziest weapons and play in public lobbies. It goes back to what I said. Cheaters just like to show their cheats off.

Leaving lobbies to avoid cheaters gets really old, really damn quickly. Why should I have to stop playing because someone else is breaking the rules?

Most of the cheating is people modifying their weapon or armor stats. I’ve kicked more people for those exact reasons over the last few weeks than I have in the last 2.5 years. Feels like every 1/10 games I’m encountering someone using mods.

Just because you’re not noticing it doesn’t mean the problem doesn’t exist.

Yes of course. It's the fault of non-cheaters. They're the ones who have to stop joining public games and they're the ones who have to leave missions. It's their responsibility to play the game less because of cheaters, not the Cheaters responsibility not to ruin the game for everyone, and not Arrowheads responsibility to stop people cheating.

Takes this dumb just prove AH was right to do what they did.
