5 years ago I played POE1 for the first time and couldn't progress past Act 6. I ragequit and left a negative review on Steam.

Now I'm playing again with a lot more success and enjoyment, and holy shit what was I thinking back then...

No keystone passive skill allocated

No gear modified via crafting

No elemental resistances beyond 75%

No Ascendancy class chosen

In the past few days I have been testing league starters in SSF. Because I wanted to reset the progress after each run, I just clicked the migrate all buttons. Now as I went back on my main (Trade League). There obviously where a lot of stash tabs with the remove only tag. There wasn't much in there anyway but it gave me the Idea for a QoL Buff

Can we have a Remove all Button on Remove only Stash Tabs?

If you want to add even more QoL to it

Add two Remove Buttons

One remove to stash tabs with affinity

Second remove to Inventory (useful for Unique Stash tabs as there will most likely be Overlaps in the uniques) Your Inventory gets filled until its full and you can then Vendor or do what ever with it.

Last but not least when you press Remove all and the last Item is removed with this command the remove only stadh tab also gets removed.

Thoughts?

Preparing for 3.30 and learning some mechanics that will be useful in SSF. Want to know how to get ITF in Transportation and move Vorici to Intervention. My only guess is to get all intelligence in transportation and then Vorici will lose his ranks, but I feel like by the time I get all the intelligence needed, ITF will already be auto assigned to intervention. Also, if I'm running the 2255 setup, should I connect members from 2 with 5, and never 5 with 5 and 2 with 2?

I found a legacy Global Defences Grasping Mail in my stash in standard. Had a lot of fun playing EK Herald Stacker in Allflame, so I thought I would use all my currency in standard making a cool EK chest. Got pretty lucky.

1. Buy a 30% ilvl86+ Twilight regalia. I dont think this is the best method, but I scoured the regalia, and had Global Defences as the only prefix on the grasping mail. Recombi and successfully move the mod the first try.
   
2. Exalt slam on three modifiers. Use Hinekora Lock and check the fracturing orb. Clear lock with jewellers orb. Hit the fracture on the third lock.
   
3. Fossil slam with Faceted, Dense, and Frigid, (you can replace Frigid with Metallic or Scorched). about 30 slams to hit +1 Dex and T1 Res.
   
4. Slam eldritch ichor and then yolo slam with eldritch exalt. Miss the slam and go back to step 3. Use about 50 more resonator slams and exalt slams to hit double T1 Res.
   
5. Use Wild Bristle Matron to add the bench craft suffixes cant be changed, then use harvest bench reforge defense. Used around 40ish Bristle Matrons to hit T1 flat ES with open prefix.
   
6. Slam with Foulborn exalt and get lucky hitting T1 % ES. Noice.
   
7. Grand Eldritch ichor until Golems implicit. Exceptional ichor one time. Conflict slam. Repeat until Golem implicit is Perfect. Took me around 12 conflicts.
   
8. Exceptional Ichor slam until phys taken as chaos. Rougly 60 Ichors. Conflict to make both implicits Exquisite. Hit first try.
   
9. Tailoring Orb slam until 15% Defence enchant. Took me like 120 Tailorings. This step sucks.
   
10. 6-Link and then use bench to add 4 non-white sockets until you hit 6 colors. Used around 3-4k chromas.
    
11. Sacred orb to perfect. Used around 80 sacreds. A bit unlucky here.

Very happy with how this craft turned out. :) Anyone wanna mirror in standard, its free.

Been doing this for 2-3 leagues now and im loving it. you have easier access to currency for crafting which makes you learn it better and at the same time have a little bit of SSF feeling as you have to craft all the rare items and get all the uniques yourself.

I started playing theis game SSF and never really learned crafting because i was too poor to craft and too weak to efficiently farm whats needed to craft.

Forced me to craft and at the same time exchange things i didn't need for things i needed

Manifesting any form of Crabhammer buff. It's been nearly a decade since they last buffed it (2.6 Legacy League). I would love to see it go from a 1c unique to a 2c unique <3

I’ve run ~500 Anchors this league fishing for that dopamine from a big drop, and finally got my first Mirror!

I was way too excited and forgot to screenshot the drop 😭 Luckily, I captured my inventory while it was still in the Dredge state as proof.

I play this game fully co-op with my friend and she said that next league she wanted to play Flicker Strike. I have seen clips of it going crazy and it makes me wonder: how can I ever keep up with her in speed or contribute to our map clears?

GGG please let us upgrade Eldritch Embers and Ichors like we can upgrade Essences. Lets do it up to Grand leave Exceptional rare and make it with a worse ratio then Essences for example 5 lesser for 1 greater and 10 greater for 1 grand. God... even 10 to 1 would be nice at this point.

Hey everyone,

I’m considering switching to AM5 specifically because of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and I’d appreciate some advice.

Would you pay 340€ for a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and stay on AM4, or would you sell your current motherboard, CPU, and RAM for 370€ and upgrade to AM5 instead?

My current build:

• CPU: Ryzen 7 5700G
• RAM: 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz
• GPU: RX 9060 XT 16 GB

The potential AM5 upgrade:

• CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D — €260 (brand new; I bought it on sale a while ago i can still refund it)
• Motherboard: 90€
• RAM: 350–400€ second-hand / 500€ new (honestly, i would go new unless i find a great deal in second-hand)

I could sell my current motherboard, CPU, and RAM for around 370€. Combined with the 236€ I have available, that would give me a total budget of 606€ (i could spend like 200€ but that would stretch my budget too much).

I mainly play games that are heavily CPU-dependent, especially Path of Exile, so I’m looking for a meaningful improvement in CPU performance.

Would I actually notice a significant difference between the Ryzen 7 5700G, 5800X3D, and 7800X3D, particularly in terms of average FPS and 1% lows at 1080p?

I’m leaning towards upgrading to AM5, even if it means paying a premium for DDR5 RAM, rather than spending 340€ on a 5800X3D and staying on AM4. However, I’m not sure whether the AM5 upgrade would justify the extra cost.

What would you do in my situation?

Started this build a while ago, then learnt of weird nuances of POB vs in game vs wiki vs POEDB as well as the mechanics of Tectonic slam of Cataclysm

TLDR :

- Tech slam of cata consumes charges in the middle of its attack
- Echoes of creation procs at the start of the attack, so can be used to get charges for the charge consumption multi
- It does not calculate damage like discharge, and increases etc are calculated on hit, so if you have no charges, you get no "increased or more damage multipliers from endurance charges"
- if u have no endurance charges when it hits, you will not get increases such as from passives or the jugg nodes, endurance charge on melee stun, etc
- Ralakeshes get around this the easy way, (i just didnt wanna spend 150 div on +1 corrupted ones, or, give up my +2 endurance charge boots)
- I figured out you could tune you attack speed to the game tick, in order to perfectly regain chargers with enduring composure

The build is absolute trash compared to any normal slammer, but it was fun to experiment

GGG I beg of you, I saw that the skeleton skin was live, I saw it deleted all of my visual effects and other cosmetics and allowed me to be a basic NPC-looking skeleton, and I updated my Path of Exile just to log on and purchase this effect. Now mind you I bought the Valdo's Box supporter pack, I'm swimming in cosmetic effects I rarely touch, but the thought of being able to be a truly basic skeleton had me log back in to this game that I haven't visited in a month.

But what do my eyes see, the skeleton effect isn't active outside of towns/hideouts! I'm forced to be a normal exile again with gear and cosmetics outside of the comfort of my hideout! GGG, this is not what I want at all. I don't care if the skeleton has no rigging whatsoever, if I just stood there stoically doing nothing while a cyclone animation occurred around me, well I'd consider that a plus, not a minus. I want this badly GGG, please make this a happy Halloween for me, remove this restriction!

Some potential QoL features I documented throughout my 3.29 playthrough:

1. Stash Tabs for Tattoos, Runegrafts. This is free money you are leaving on the table, people will eat these up.
2. Foulborn Unique Tab, same as Replicas - Please it is time. This creates so much admin in SSF every league to prio what sits where.
3. Homes for Reflecting Mist, Tempering and Tailoring Orbs in the Currency tab. There are probably others.
4. Can we make the Wombgift Locker more usable? Ideal would be stacking all gifts by ilvl, but even stacking gifts 20 by ilvl, this overruns for me first every league. Or examine the ratio of Gift : Blood, as even after vendoring all unneeded gifts and using Quad tabs, Graftblood still outpaces the usage of Gifts dramatically when specced into Breach.
5. Highlighting Items in Inventory from the search feature in Stash. This would also be a huge time save for Map rolling, Recombinating etc.

Hi all, first time poster, long time lurker 😄.

I play POE1 on Console and so find targeting tough on the controller, so i tried to come up with a build that worked for me. This Shockwave totem Impale build is good, and i enjoy its play style, but unsure how to improve it or maybe swap it around to get more DPS from it. Does anyone have any suggestions please and thank you.

I keep playing around in POB and in game with Items and swaps, but really struggling now.

I was playing Sanctum with the Cold Shockwave totems, and really enjoyed that side of things, and wondered if i could come up with a build that would work outside of that, as the Sanctum build is very glass cannon play style, perfect for Sanctum, but not for mapping or Nightmare Maps.

I'm not sure if a lot of people know, I noticed by coincidence. u/suitsizesmall hope you feel better. You matter, kind person.

Hey everyone! Has anyone played PoE on a 4K ultrawide monitor like the AW3926QW or any other monitor with a 5120×2160 resolution?
I’m thinking about upgrading from my current 2K ultrawide to a 4K ultrawide, but I’m not sure how well the game will run at that resolution. Also interested in poe 2 performance.
My PC specs are an RTX 5090 + Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

Update: I found out you can change render resolution in Nvidia panel, so I set up 5120x2160 and it works totally fine on 144 hz DLSS quality in both games
