Answered Is it possible for r/redditrequest or through other means, to be top of the Mod Hierarchy list on a subreddit?

I'm interested in knowing if it is possible through reddit request or any method to be placed at the top level of the moderator list so I can't be removed and I can remove others if needed?

The subreddits I'm moderating have inactive mods that can just revoke all my privileges whenever they feel like it, as I'm the only person moderating these subreddits and the owner & others continue to be inactive I can't exactly remove the bots or anything.

Is it possible to be put at the top as the inactive mods won't remove themselves or the bots, I want the peace knowing I can keep things under proper control.

Thanks you, looking forward to the help.

I'm also on Desktop browser.

The two I looked at that have any amount of activity, you've only been a Mod for 14 days or less. You'll need to be there at least 90 days before anything can happen.

Thank you for the information, I know its recent but I'm just planning for the future of the subreddits. Hoping they don't get closed again

If you have full perms and all mods above you are marked inactive then you can go the the moderator section in mod tools and click the reorder button. you can then drag yourself to the top of the list.

If you don't have full perms then you can use Redditrequest to remove the marked inactive mods and give yourself full perms.

Hi /u/3Nx9, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for such a quick response, I know now 90 days minimum wait and then you can go to the moderator section in mod tools, click reorder and put myself at the top of the list.

That's the answer. I have a bit to wait, but atleast I know now. Thank you!
