This pizza place near me called The Good Pizza has three of these posters up. I placed an order at 1pm and mentioned the deal, but they said they can't honor the price because I had to tell them I wanted the deal before I listed the toppings (pepperoni, onion, and mushroom for one pizza, and mushroom and onion for the second pizza).

When I tried to point out that's not how advertising works, particularly when it doesn't say anything about their weird rule on the ad itself, they told me I had to call ahead of time so they could give me a list of pizzas that qualified. How is that "all pizzas" if they have some secret list of specific pizzas that qualify?

I should have just left without paying for or getting the pizzas.

I think this is truly mildly annoying - no huge deal but frustrating.

So I just did a three day work trip ending in a 4 hour flight in a middle seat and then a 2 hour drive home from the airport.

I was really looking forward to jumping in the hot tub. For a quick bit of relaxation.

Well, see photo - my kids (16 and 12) had decided to first spread an entire bottle of concentrated dish soap on a slip and slide and then while still soapy jump in my hot tub.

Cue me getting home, eating dinner, and excitedly retreating to change into my suit only to discover that nope, tonight I'm draining my hot tub, rinsing it and the filter out, and then sitting by while it refills so I can get the heater back on and hopefully have a soak in the morning.

Edit: the kids did help wipe up the tub and clean the area - but I'm not keeping them up late just to wait for it to fill and turn the heater on.

I have a lot of doctor’s appointments, and I know how busy and hard these people work. I’m not mad at them and I’d never be rude. I know it’s not on purpose. Nevertheless, it’s still a bit infuriating to make time for a scheduled appointment, arrive 15 minutes early (required), and then wait this long with not even an acknowledgment of the delay from anyone. Sigh. 9:55 now, still waiting.

Edit: I really appreciate all the comments! The doctor ended up coming in shortly after 10. This was a specialist ortho appointment for my shoulder. Still no acknowledgement of the delay, which would’ve been nice, but I’m more annoyed that my concerns were pretty much brushed off again during the whole 3ish minutes he spent with me. I know waits can get long, I wouldn’t care as much if the doctor had at least seemed somewhat concerned with my issue. Sigh… gotta love American healthcare!

Backstory- my washer broke and it took 2 weeks to get my landlord to replace it- just hours before I left for a trip. I’ve got a family of 4, one in sports, so the laundry has piled up. We could have taken laundry to get it washed somewhere but the landlord kept stringing me along making me think I was about to get a call that the delivery was on the way and to keep my phone near.

This is what the replacement looks like. Original was significantly bigger than this. I’m thinking this one is for a tiny home or RV?! Not a house.

Edit: Ive apparently ruined a few people’s day by posting this so I apologize lol. I just missed lunch and grabbed a sandwich after I got my haircut. I don’t study fast foods beef ratio through the years. I did not expect people to be so angry about the fact I was disappointed.

Was at Safeway this morning to pick up a sandwich and some Tylenol. The aisle with the Tylenol? Completely locked down. No call button in sight. So I go to the self checkout (front end of that same aisle) and ask the clerk there if he can call someone to unlock a case for me. He does. I go wait. Minutes pass. No one comes. I go ask him again, he tells me they went the other way? At this point I give up and go get my sandwich. No one has come by the time the deli has finished making it. I leave without my Tylenol, mildly infuriated.

Pass expired at 4pm…booted at 3:42pm…showed up at 3:50. Guy refused to take the boot off. Called the cops and they said it’s a civil matter and won’t do anything. Fuck Houston.
