I'm not super familiar with eye drops. Maybe look at the active ingredients. If it's all pretty much the same go with the cheapest option.
And don't forget to scan it with the app so they can sell your data and make more money off you.

Oh god. We're all the product. It's all monetized. I hope I don't go on clearance and into the bin.

Just get the plain artificial tear ones without preservatives.
Ignore the ones with redness relief because those just make the problem worse long term. If you don't have an allergy, then you don't need allergy drops either.

As someone with a laundry list of eye problems I completely understand! It’s incredibly annoying and 99 percent of them don’t do anything. Only one that works for me is the Systane Complete PF. However, whoever designed the bottle is a horrible human who obviously never tried to use it so I get the single use vials online amazon.

I saw something similar for dawn dish soap and they explained that it was essentially all the same product but different marketing teams focusing on advertising it slightly differently. Maybe this is similar?

Different forms (drops, ointments, etc) as well as slight differences in the active ingredients, sizes of packaging, those sorts of things.

Preservative free carboxymethylcellulose 0.5% in the 10ml is my go to.

Get the ivizia, bottom right. Preservative free, easy dropper bottle, decently priced for the size.
As for your post in general, they all vary slightly. Some are PF, some are formulated for contact lenses, some are thicker/greasier, some are gel, etc. Most are very similar, just glance at the active ingredients.

Because they are eye drops the regulations must be real high to guarantee that no dust or other material can enter the entire process. Not like dropping chips in a bag.

Eyedrops are something id check dollar general for. I feel like they sometimes have hella deals on the generic otc meds

Absolutely not. Cheap eye drops are addictive forming. Always get the expensive ones

If the active ingredient is the same, it should be fine. But im also just kinda talking about the basic eye wetting drops

I'm not familiar with the ingredients. But the cheap ones I know not to get. My eye doctor told me

What? The ones with redness relief are the ones that make the issue worse over time (is that what you're referring to as addiction?) but that has to do with the active ingredient not whether it's generic or not.

That's not how that works, at all.
But I would still stick with the more reputable brands than chance a recall. It has nothing to do with the price point though.

They aren't all the same though, some are preservative free, some have different active ingredients and some are simply just a larger pack size if you want to save a few bucks and think you'll use them all before they expire
