It's not EA. They did it to themselves. They haven't released a single good game for more than a decade and consistently lost money. They are probably down a billion dollars at this point.

Most of those games were bad because of EA interference or firing their staff members.

Nah, most of it was Bioware themselves. Biware even made a press release highlighting how much EA helped them and kept them afloat and financed for a long time. You might argue about the engine controversy, but every game failed not because it was developed with a certain engine, but because of crappy writing, bad stories, overall crappy game design in case of Athnem, and many other things. It was Bioware themselves that did all that. Don't blame EA for everything.

Pretty sure the CEO of EA played anthem early on and straight out just called it shit to their faces.

It’s even worse than that. The EA executives previewing and playtesting an early build were told by BW they were going to remove the flying stuff and the EA guys practically had to order BW to keep it in. Y’know, the only redeeming quality of that game was the flying and it was EA “meddling” that kept it in lmao

Ladt game they made without EA interference (either being rushed, pushed to a certain direction etc) was Dragon Age 1.

It was a miracle they lasted this long under EA.

There is a huge part to blame in EA, yes Andromeda and Veilguard were dog shit games, but Anthem was a game EA forced them to make which then was shut down not long after launch. Veilguard was initial meant to be a live service game but they realized it wasn’t working and made the team shift to a single player story focused game that was shit. I personally believe that if Anthem was never released there is a chance BioWare would still have a lot of the old devs and would still be releasing decent games but thats just a thought.

All the crappy writing, shitty characters, awful graphics, bad storytelling, insulting their own audience, bad game design - all of it was Bioware. Let's not make it like EA is out there to make shitty games and lose money. They might try to push one thing or another, but they are out to make money, not lose it. The failures of Bioware was all their own doing. EA can take some of the blame, but it's not like they went in and ruined the studio that was fighting against them.

BG3 was good, but outside of that, Andromeda, failguard, and anthem were nails in their coffin.

They did not make BG3, for clarification

Oh, that explains it.

I think they were the publisher, but not the developers.

BG3 has nothing to do with bioware or EA.

It is developed and published by Larian

Do your research before talking out your ass

Be reasonable, the image literally says “Baldur’s Gate” it is a reasonable, while incorrect, assumption to make that they also worked on 3.

Fine, I'll talk out YOUR ass next time.

Larian studios both developed and published BG3.

BG3 was made by Larian. The guys who made Divinity series.
