I don’t think the chatbot itself is actually made to check for watermarks and such, there are specific separated tools for that. Also, OpenAI doesn’t actually use any full scale text watermarking. Absolutely zero clue why this comment blew up with 10K karma despite being wrong in every way.

Yea there is no way for the public to check for the text watermarks. As that would in the watermark beeing reversed engineered and then could easily be removed

They have free checkers on their own sites. Its in their own interest for ai created text to be known it was ai generated. Its very easy to check.
