The absolute worst I've ever seen are people who are recording THEMSELVES at the show. Not a quick selfie or anything. I've seen people taking long videos with the camera held up high and blocking views but facing them and not the band. Just recording themselves (and the random people next to them) singing and watching the show. Some of them even live stream it. I saw this one girl get mad because people were dancing "in her shot".

Absolute psychos.

There’s no fighting it at this point, but if it’s standing room only like in this photo, you don’t have to tolerate it. I just find another spot - I mean - moving directly in front of them is one (admittedly petty) option.

But it’s also likely that they’ll move after a few minutes. Crowds like this are so fluid, it’s usually not worth getting too upset about, they’ll see a space ahead that they like better or you might find one first.

ETA - oops, just noticed that it’s outdoor seating, not standing room. If they film the entire time, then yes, these people are self centered assholes. I don’t know what you can do about it that won’t most likely ruin your evening even further though.
