Same. I understand why they want to record. It’s a special moment for them and they want to record it. Same with pictures. Yes, many people will record it and may upload it to YouTube but it just doesn’t feel like it belongs to you and you can’t access your original and look back at the memories. There are times I’m like OP, but then there are times I’m like, would have been nice if I took a video or picture as I reminisce about the past.

Take a picture of you being there before or after. Taking a video or a picture during the concert take away all the magic of actually being there. But maybe you are the type that listen to music as a background
