Which is weird, they set their own prices. If an artist got bent out of shape because I didn't tip I wouldn't go back to them.

Right? If I wanted to pay more then I would’ve gone to someone better and more expensive.

I think that the issue is that if an artist set a high price, people wouldn't go back because it was a high price (ostensibly, despite that they would go back if it was a low price that they tipped upon).

It's all pretty fucked.

Well then the people are stupid too. Tattoo artists are in fact artists. GOOD art is not and should not be cheap.
