DISCUSSION How do we petition/gofund a revival of Bioware
Look if star citizen can pool together a fake studio off whales. Im sure we can save our beloved studio with mass support. How do we make this happen.
Edit#1: yo stop being pessimistic as hell and let's actually try to think about how we as a fan base of millions can move a rock. Movements are done by the people not by the individual in a suit.
Edit#2: This is a call to action. If you don't want to be apart of it then leave. I don't and im sure others don't need your negativity. I don't care if it fails the idea is to attempt something.

You don't, it's dead.
EA will never sell the IP's for DA or ME anyways.
Your best bet is to get behind a studio where original team members are now if they haven't retired.

Literally another reddit post just popped up disagreeing. Lets stop being pessimistic and fcking try for once. What's the worst to happen? We gather as a bunch of fans showing the world we loved a studio enough to try to fight to keep somepart of it alive??

There is a big difference between being pessimistic and being a realist.
1st of all Bioware has been at best dead for years. The games you are probably most fond of? The people didn't work for them anymore.
2nd like I said EA will never release the IP. Both DA and ME carry huge weight still.
3rd getting behind a company that has actual ex Bioware staff is not being negative. You want to show support? Buy their products and shout about it.

I understand the original team is gone. I'm asking for us to vocalize the revial of the original studio and try to find the original ideas behind the studio. EA has vocalized wanting to possibly sell their IPS. I also have bought their products and I am currently screaming about it. I'M Tired of letting these corpo shits kill things I love and I want to fight.

Unlike scam citizen, Someone has to buy bioware or at least the ME IP. Unfortunately, hopefully another gaming company bids. If I were a big gaming company, I would definitely invest in the franchise.

The bioware devs do.
Fan petitions dont have enough zeroes in existence in 0.0000000001% or less to count when theyve worked.
Just, whatever sandfall had to do to get E33 off the ground THATS what will work. If the devs dont wanna do it, they dont wanna do it and there's no point telling them "hey, thanks for mass effect, here's a big bag of cash so you can make another one for us"

U don’t.
1: BioWare in 2026 wasn’t the BioWare we grew up with. Those guys are gone and have been for years now.
2: No amount of petitions or fan mail is gonna make EA bring them back.
EA cut BioWare because they need money and BioWare wasn’t profitable anymore. That’s why BioWare was shut down, cuz it wasn’t profitable to keep them around anymore. They hadn’t made a profitable and well liked game in over a decade.

U can say screw EA all u want, but that doesn’t change that ur being unrealistic.
U don’t get it. EA last year sold something in the ballpark of 200 million copies of games last year. Just last year. BioWare fans make up maybe…5-10 million of that. And that’s me being generous with the fanbase numbers.
The fanbase doesn’t have the power to get them to do anything.
Furthermore, the original BioWare guys that made the games we love left a long time ago. At this point I doubt they’d even want to write more mass effect even if they could get the IP back.
