I understand this perspective. I would still rather hope that something can be made out of these IPs. There are games that got revived in the past: Red Dead, Fallout, X-com, Mortal Kombat, etc. There is a massive community waiting for Mass Effect 5.

And what would this do? Old Bioware is dead and buried. We arent getting the band back together in this lifetime

I agree that last games were rough. It's still THE STUDIO that created games from our youth. And while I can understand your perspective on shutting down the studio, do you really never ever wanna see another Mass Effect or Drago Age game ever again? I want more and there is a massive community waiting for ME5

Im attached to the name too. Bioware was the studio that got me into RPGs like KOTOR and ME. And I would love more from the worlds they've made but I care more about the product being in good hands rather than it having the Bioware branding at this point.

I'll always cherish the old bioware and I respect what they did, but it has been downhill since Andromeda.

No, I don’t want to see another installment in a cherished franchise just because some developer wants to continue milking the IP. The old games stand on their own and don’t demand novelty for the sake of novelty.

It’s not going to happen. Honestly I’m surprised BioWare survived the Anthem fiasco.

They were once my absolute favourite company and to this day DA:O is my favourite RPG. But the BioWare that made that game and the Mass Effect trilogy has been gone for several years now. I think ME2 was the last BioWare game to release without some major controversy.

It’s gone. Let it go. It’s for the best they didn’t sully ME as they did DA despite Andromeda. At the very least let another studio try if the rights are sold off.

They don't care. Even if there was a chance for the IP to be saved by another company, it would take at least five years until the game is out.

Let's not torture ourselves for five years or more waiting for another ME game. Sometimes we have to let it go.

Yea I am aware it would take a while. I would rather wait and see another ME or DA game made in the future than give up on a piece of gaming history just because the company messed up on the last 2 games from these two franchises.

Given how veilguard treated the Dragon Age franchise, not sure I want them to make another mass effect game

You can’t save BioWare (closed already…😔) - but maybe it’ll get enough buzz for revival of ME…☹️🫩

Provavelmente agente nunca veja mass Effect depender da EA ela só pensa em lucro ao curto prazo.

BioWare committed suicide, there is nothing to save.
