VIDEO Let's all just sit here for a minute...

A new game could have never recaptured this feeling anyway.

Thank you, BioWare.

Mass Effect 1 was really special. I really fell into that world.

•

u/CasualDoty 4h ago

Hot take

It's the best mass effect.

•

u/LazyNubbz 4h ago

Not even a hot take imo. I love them all but nothing beats ME1.

•

u/CasualDoty 4h ago edited 4h ago

My entire friend group thinks I'm insane for this opinion.

Here is my (admittedly rage bait reduction of me2+3)

Me1 was great for the jank and the RPG elements.

Me2-3 are pick your adventure gears of war.

Edit: all three games are great, no argument, I just love rage baiting my friends lol

•

u/LazyNubbz 4h ago

I absolutely love all 3. I think ME1 has the best storytelling, ME2 has the best cast of characters, and ME3 has the best gameplay. But ME2 has never been my favorite because it diverts too much from the Reapers, and I never cared so much about the Collector storyline, especially because it ultimately leaves you where ME1 ended anyway (imminent Reaper arrival). But taken all together, it's still perfect.

•

u/gizmostuff Wrex 4h ago

I've always thought this was the case until very recently. The last few years people have really softened to ME3.

ME1 just hits differently. The music. The tone. The exploration. It's just done way better than the other two.

The amount of effort they put into the codex was really impressive to me. That wasn't a thing back then and gets really overlooked imo. The other two got to inherit that feature.

•

u/LazyNubbz 4h ago

I'm the same way. ME3 has always been my second favorite.

•

u/chillaquile 1h ago

ME2 is hella fun and great but I’ve also always felt the same regarding the story diverting a bit

Hot take
ME3 ending while underwhelming in its scope it was never as bad as the online hate made it out to be

Same with andromeda, although its story was weaker imo it was a pretty solid game

•

u/Lowlife_Of_The_Party 4h ago

I've got a soft spot for ME2 because that was my intro to the series, but I agree. The friend that got me to play 2 had me convinced that 1 was too much of a pain to play & was worth skipping. BOY was he wrong

•

u/LazyNubbz 4h ago

I'll fight him.

•

u/Sockerkatt 3h ago

I’ll join. Let’s take that dude down.

•

u/ThePrussianGrippe 1h ago

3 really improves on a lot, but 1 is still indisputably the best.

•

u/Naramis_15 4h ago

I think it also depends on when you play each game. I happened to only get into ME with ME 2 and played the first ME in... 2011 or 2012 or so. So by that time, the original version felt really outdated and janky to me and I hated that compared to ME2. With that in mind, my order is this: ME3 > ME2 > ME1. If I had played ME1 first, though, and closer to its release, I might've liked it more than I did.

Either way, all three are great games in their own right. Just clarifying here so nobody thinks I hate ME1 because I don't.

•

u/Alpha_Apeiron 4h ago

Except ME2.

All goated though, even parts of Andromeda

•

u/LazyNubbz 4h ago

I finished another playthrough of the trilogy a few months ago, and as much as this makes me want to start another one, I'm really wondering if I want to play Andromeda again. Only did it the one time, and maybe I will appreciate it more on a second playthrough.

•

u/Alpha_Apeiron 4h ago

I haven't played it a 2nd time personally, despite playing the trilogy about 20 times.

I'll try it again some day maybe, there were good aspects to it.

•

u/aavillagomez 2h ago

Absolutely it is. Lore with so much mystery left. The best story. The worst combat, but also glitchy fun combat. I remember lifting enemies so high in the air with biotic powers.

•

u/chillaquile 1h ago

It’s the best one, yea sure it’s wonky at times and the legendary edition fixed a lot of it but none of the other games came close to the feeling of ME1

Im commander shepherd and this was my favorite game series on the citadel

•

u/pimpmcnasty 3h ago

Yep. That's my opinion too and I think it's my favorite game ever on most days of the year.

•

u/701921225 1h ago

Definitely my favorite

This is one of the only games (and game series) I can remember where I exhausted absolutely every dialogue option in every conversation I could find. This world and the characters in it were so interesting and I could not get enough of it.

Good bye Mass Effect. I'll never forget you

•

Whenever you need the Normandy and the crew are always here for you Commander.

•

u/Blazured 2h ago

I don't remember this scene? When does it take place?

•

u/VoidmasterCZE 1h ago

ME3 Ending. The retaking of Earth just after fleets arrive to Sol system and before ground invasion.

•

u/Foolsarefinehoney 2h ago

It's been gone for years.

Why is it goodbye? This doesn't mean you can't play the games lmao

No game company has ever done anything as cool or as ambitious as Mass Effect. A whole trilogy with branching choices and a custom character that carry over from one game to the next? Still nothing else like it. So sad that this is where we are now.

•

u/OnBenchNow 2h ago

Seriously, for a time it seemed like carry-over choices were the future of RPGs, the next big narrative innovation after multiple endings. Why wouldnt games going forward remember my choices from previous games? The genie was out, this was the new standard.

But as we saw, even Bioware themselves couldnt maintain that promise. They had to eject one of their series into another galaxy, and the other one just straight up plugged its ears and went "what other games lalalalala".

And now the industry has pretty much abandoned the concept. Really such a shame.

•

u/chrisbrownladybeater 3h ago

Pillars of eternity could have been this but unfortunately that franchise is dead now too :(

•

u/wcruse92 3h ago

I mean thats not entirely true. Dragon Age also did this. Well not Veilguard but the rest.

•

u/Keiawyn 3h ago

This! In some ways I thought it was cooler what was done with DA - the fact that each game had a new protagonist, but your previous player choices built the world they had to exist in. ♥️

•

u/ThisIsGoobly N7 4h ago

This has hit me harder than I expected. The Mass Effect trilogy was something my late best friend and I were both obsessed with and we spent countless hours discussing it in school and playing the ME3 MP together.

He passed away just before Andromeda came out and I always think about him whenever I'm doing a playthrough of the trilogy. This feels like another connection with him put to rest.

I try not to be too sappy but I'll always be thankful for these games. Really good memories.

•

u/JPRDesign 4h ago

GOD i miss ME3 multiplayer. I wonder if there's anywhere i can still play it

•

u/Lonewolf174 3h ago

There’s a mod for the legendary edition that has the multiplayer fully operational and doesn’t rely on ea servers so won’t be affected by this shutdown

•

u/JPRDesign 40m ago

oh shiiiiit that’s awesome

→ More replies (1)

•

u/LazyNubbz 4h ago

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure nothing can ever replace those memories with the game, for you or for him. Keelah se'lai.

•

u/TidusDream12 3h ago

This is not the end for Mass Effect. That property has too much weight to be put out to pasture.

•

u/hkf999 3h ago

Same. ME will always have a special place in my heart, even though I don't have a tragic backstory with it like you. I bought the collector's edition of ME3 when it came out when I was in high school. I also bought an N7 hoodie that I finally had to retire after wearing it out a couple of years ago.

It might have been stupid, but I was really hoping for ME5 with Liara and maybe some of the others back in there, capturing some of that old glory again, bringing Bioware into a new golden age. My sadness is really compounded by the fact that this IP will now probably just stay in the EA vault and forgotten. In addition to being really sad about what Andromeda could have been, if it recieved the follow up it deserved :(

Feel for you. Raising a glass to Bioware and your friend!

“If anyone finds this place, Hells, let alone this recording. Please: hear our Message and Listen to what we have to say, and pass onto You:” “We fought, we tried, all. We struggled, we hoped. …we still hold out Hope. And here’s a last word for those who can hear it, and will journey onwards towards distant Stars: Keelah si'yah.”

Recording End. Beginning Looped Message:

It’s been a pleasure serving with you all

•

u/RedheadedBlackguard 3h ago

Fuck it.
Franchises only die once the Fans leave and stop making cool shit.
Let's keep going. See what happens.

The Sly Cooper fandom is still hoping for a new game, making new art and writing new fanfic and it's been like 10 years since it's last game, 20 if you only count good games. I believe that we can be just as stubborn, deluded and uh... 'passionate' as they can be!

Let's see THAT level of dedication.

•

u/Ishimura1337 3h ago

Fine. I'll play the trilogy for the 14th time

•

u/lVlurphysLaw 3h ago

I can't even play Witcher 3 through a second time but I played through this trilogy maybe six times which is unheard of for any game for me.

•

u/BlackStory666 2h ago

I've actually never finished a playthrough of The Witcher 3, and I know what I'm about to say is blasphemous, but I actually found it to be one of the most boring games I've ever played in my life. I literally fell asleep every time I would try to play it. I could probably play an entire Mass Effect came all the way through in one sitting because I love it so much.

•

u/Icy-Can3136 2h ago

2 saved my life no joke

•

u/LazyNubbz 2h ago

Glad you're here.

•

u/plegadis 3h ago

My dad passed away almost 4 years ago. He was the one who bought me dragon age and mass effect. He's the one who bought me every PlayStation I owned. I love those games so much and it's a gut punch that this happened when his death anniversary is on Sunday. I knew Bioware wouldn't survive, but I always had hoped there would still be a way forward.

•

u/LazyNubbz 3h ago

I love your dad for encouraging your love for gaming and these stories. Mine did too, and I lost him at the end of last year. Never forget.

•

u/plegadis 3h ago

I'm sorry for your loss. It doesn't get easier, it just changes (and there's always something to remind you of your loss). From the time I could hold a controller, I was always playing games. His last Christmas present for me was a PS5. Now I don't know what to play (FIFA and fps was never my thing). I just hope my PS3 never breaks down.

•

u/Enough_Bedroom1421 3h ago

You still have this community and the memories. I feel your mourning. Your dad was an awesome person.

•

u/plegadis 3h ago

It was more than just a game to me, as silly as that sounds. A place to return to. Thank you for your kind words. He was a gamer too, through and through.

•

u/Enough_Bedroom1421 3h ago

It's not silly - it's who we are. These coded pixelated characters have touched our lives more than real people. The same way people resonate with any kind of art. I might actually have a memorial service for them, no hyperbole.

•

u/LazyNubbz 3h ago

Keelah se'lai.

•

u/Sylvarius 2h ago
  1. I’m 20, and I buy the game for my 360 just because the box art looks cool and the space opera premise described on the back sounds great.

I. Couldn't. Stop. Playing.

This song is the type of song that brings you back to a world that doesn't exist anymore, but still I'm really happy that I got to experience it.

Thank you BioWare.

•

u/LazyNubbz 2h ago

I love this song so much and that's exactly how it feels. Thank you.

Meeting Vigil remains my favorite moment in gaming ever.

•

u/Samus1611 2h ago

Nothing after that hit like that did. A dying AI, telling the tale of a long dead race that fought till its last breath
The haunting music driving home the hopelessness the protheans must have felt. And yet, there is just the smallest chance their sacrifice was not in vain and you can stop the reapers.
Never has another moment in any media I’ve consumed hit that level. I am now big sad lol

•

u/kvk1990 4h ago

I still don’t think we’ve seen the last Mass Effect game. The TV series is still in production, and it’s possible that it generates demand for another game connecting the trilogy, Andromeda, and the TV show. While I don’t think it’s likely right now, I also don’t think it’s entirely out of the realm of possibility that EA sells the IPO, either. The vulture capitalists who bought EA are going to strip down anything they can and sell it. Given the right buyer, it’s possible the rights get sold to another studio. It’s a fresh wound right now, but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Never say never.

•

u/Vyar 3h ago

We don't even know the TV series is still in production. It'd be like if Bethesda was shut down tomorrow, it would probably take the TV show with it even though it's already successful on its own.

EA has never relinquished any of the countless other beloved IPs they've destroyed.

•

u/verdantsf 2h ago

The TV show is likely toast.

•

u/anbeasley 3h ago

EA are the reapers, Bioware are the Protheons with a great legacy of games that faltered at the end. Indie Devs are us/Shepard?

•

u/discosoc 3h ago

Yes, let’s blame EA instead of devs who couldn’t manage to actually build games on anything remotely realistic timelines.

•

u/anbeasley 3h ago

If we're going to be honest everything in BioWare did start to show signs of wear and tear when EA bought them.

•

u/Such_Supermarket_607 2h ago

Yes you're absolutely right EA have no impact on this situation, just like all the other studios they bought and definitely didnt run into the ground. Westwood Studios, Bullfrog Productions, Origin Systems, Maxis & Pandemic Studios, we're all shit and totally let EA down so had to be shut too /s

•

u/Ntippit 2h ago

Both are empirically true. BioWare fumbled so often for 15 years. They couldnt finish a game without EA forcing them to (after giving them tons of leash) had to always come in and say “what the fuck have you been doing?”. EA had to tell them to keep flying in Anthem. Literally the only good thing in that game. They restarted Failguard 3 times and it took 10 years to finally finish in the garbage state that it ended up as. EA are also monstrous pieces of corporate trash only made worse by adding Saudi private equity and Jared fucking Kushner. It’s a tragedy but pretending BioWare didn’t dig its own grave is revisionist. EA just owns the graveyard and runs it like shit.

•

u/Such_Supermarket_607 1h ago

I completley agree Bioware released some dross, probably their last 'ok' game was inquisition. But dont forget much of the talent behind their bangers left due to not being able to work within EA's structure, that's not to say they were right but it certainly isn't a unique situation, other companies I mentioned also suffered similar brain drain after EA Borged them. Both parties are to blame but being absorbed by EA is almost always the start of a studio's decline into mediocrity and ultimately its slow death unless they come up with a title that can suck wallets dry via in game purchases or be an annual release cash cow.

To me, Mass Effect was Shepard’s story. I’m ok with this. I knew this was coming since I also play the sims. It’s been bleak in that fandom too. I feel terrible for the crew. I’ve made peace with it and I’m glad I can still play it whenever I need to save the galaxy again.

•

u/vapingsoulz 1h ago

I know this is about mass effect.. but dragon age 2 was the first rpg I ever fell in love with. My friend loaned me the disc to play on my ps3 bc he loved it and wanted someone to talk to about it. Dragon age 2 quite literally changed my life. It helped me discover myself (lgbt) and changed the way I viewed video games forever. I still so desperately chase the feeling of the pure joy I felt playing through that game for the very first time. I played it everyday for an entire year and it is one of my favorite gaming memories to date. The only time I've even came close to experiencing that joy is from Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 but specifically during the citadel dlc. Bioware is by far my favorite gaming company. They've created my all time favorite games and genuinely made me experience only what I can describe as true happiness. It breaks my heart to hear the news that they're shutting down and the fact that we will never see another Dragon Age or Mass Effect.. I can only hope that some other company will see what i saw from these games and choose to purchase the IPs for these masterpieces.

•

u/Dismal_Shape7367 59m ago

•

u/nadya_artj 1h ago edited 1h ago

I was just a kid who occasionally played games without defined preferences and interest in gaming in general. But then in 2012 I played ME2 and it changed everything for me. This game (and later the whole ME trilogy) showed me that videogames can be more than just fun time spending. In addition it shaped my gaming preferences, tastes which last till today and it was a proper start for me to become a gamer, to become a part in gaming community. So it is devastating to see that studio existence, which brought us this masterpiece and several no less amazing games, has come to an end.

In addition I fell in love not just story, music, atmosphere and characters, but the whole universe itself. I was/am okay that Shepard's story ended. But I was still kinda exited and hopeful for the new ME in order to experience something new and expand my lore knowledge...

•

u/jokingsammy 5h ago

I have complex feelings with this one.

•

u/Virtual_Plate_6550 3h ago

And just like that, I stumbled upon "Reignite" on YouTube. Go watch it guys, listen to it, just sit, and listen. Normandy, crew, Shepard, Anderson, Jackett, Mordin, Thane, they'll be watching over. All of them. Citadel DLC, Vigil's theme, extended cut, each hits harder. It's not just a video game to us. And it never should be.

•

u/Time_Act_2128 2h ago

I can't believe mass effect will NOT continue...

•

u/verdantsf 2h ago

In spirit, it will. Several devs from Mass Effect 1 & 2 (including the lead writer Drew Karpyshyn) are making their own game. If you or others haven't heard of it yet, check out Exodus.

•

u/Time_Act_2128 2h ago

•

u/Gladii 3h ago

Damn I was just looking up if there was any news on Mass effect 5 yesterday. I hope the IP gets sold off to a good company but until then I’ll be hoping that Exodus or The Expanse will be fun and similar enough

•

u/RelishedCrab 3h ago

Knowing companies nowadays, EA will hold onto the IP just so someone else doesn’t become successful from it.

•

u/BestDescription3834 3h ago

Companies will choose no money over some money if they can't have all the money.

•

u/MikeTibbs 3h ago

I don’t want to say goodbye to ME. I’m still holding on hopes that the IP will get sold or another studio gets a chance to make it

•

u/ForAte151623ForTeaTo 2h ago

No thanks, I don't feel like crying at the moment.

•

u/NeuMaster369 2h ago

I first played the original ME trilogy during a very tough time in my life. Sitting there on the ME1 title screen with Vigil's theme in the background was very soothing. Just knowing there was a world I could escape to,to forget my circumstances even if it was for short bursts was therapeutic.

I know Bioware hasn't exactly been churning out successes these past few years and that this was coming at some point but still...witnessing such a titan of the medium fall so hard makes me melancholic.

RIP.

•

u/ladylynx 1h ago

Don’t cry because it’s over… smile because it happened.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Andromeda or Veilguard, but Mass Effect and Dragon Age were the most fun I’ve ever had playing video games and I’m so thankful I played them at such a formative time in my life! Thank you BioWare ❤️❤️❤️❤️

•

u/Alpha_Apeiron 4h ago

Maybe it'll get picked up by a talented team one day.

Either way, we'll always have this trilogy to return home to.

•

u/LazyNubbz 4h ago

•

u/4102007Pn 3h ago

It blew my world wide open. I got the first one when 2 had just been released. I was on 360, and when I completed it at 1AM, I immediately drove to Walmart and bought 2 to keep the party rolling. I was like 28 and never did shit like that since I was a teenager.

It's a special series and we were lucky to have it when we did. I didn't have high hopes for the new one, not because of the people making it, but the expectations of what came before. That era is gone and won't be coming back, in the AAA environment at least.

ME1s menu music is perfect.

Mass Effect 3's Multiplayer still stands as my most favorite "wave based PvE". I love the difference classes as different races. I love the feel of the combat. I love the guns.

I'm going to miss it.

u/WeskerSaturation 20m ago

Pretty sure modders have added it to PC on Legendary Edition

Felt crushed hearing this today. Mass effect helped me get thru some of the worst times of my life 😔

I'm a very late newcomer when it comes to ME. I got it 2 years ago because ME:LE was on sale and I heard good things about it, and had been watching a YouTuber who played part of it. To avoid spoiling myself I got it and played through the game with a Renegade Infiltrator Shepard that romanced Garrus (or Garr Bear as I head canon for her). Genuinely became one of my favorite games and ME3 specifically was one of the few games that actually made me cry, let alone multiple points (Mordins, Andersons, and Shepards deaths)

Glad I got to experience the game before the studio was shut down. Here's hoping we get tf out of this cursed decade and things turn around somehow

•

u/SadGeorgeWashington 3h ago

I’m going to replay now before GTA6

•

u/Enough_Bedroom1421 3h ago

I started playing all of the Mass Effects to 100% completion in preparation for ME5. Did the same thing for DA4. I'm on Voeld on Andromeda now...and I'm not stopping. Long life Bioware.

•

u/VakarianJ 3h ago

It’s a shame that we’ll never get anything like that original trilogy again. I wish Mass Effect could’ve become a series that saw tons of amazing games over the decades like Zelda, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, GTA, etc… But I guess it was just lightning in a bottle.

•

u/aksoileau 3h ago

Song name Vigil is the perfect choice. Ugh.

•

u/NoManufacturer3792 2h ago

One of the greatest piece of Art of our generation . One of a kind experience . Thank you so much Bioware <3

Rest in space 🖤

I joined the Army on 11.7.2007. After walking out of MEPS my dad said he’d get me anything I want and I said “BioWare has a new game that looks cool”

Took me to the local game store, got me Mass Effect and I stayed home the rest of the week from school playing it.

I feel like this is my sign to retire next year.

•

u/Adrianwill-87 1h ago

That's very sad.

I remember seeing ME for the first time at the video rental store and starting out with ME2, since I had a PS3, and it was love at first sight.

When the trilogy version for PS3 was announced at the end of 2012, and I was finally going to play the entire Shepard story, it was wonderful!

Good memories, it's one of the few games I always enjoy replaying, it was good while it lasted.

•

u/Abject-Cod5144 1h ago

I was 11/12 when I first played Mass Effect. The first game I truly fell in love with.

•

u/sonofsarkhan 1h ago

I can't, I'll probably cry 😢

•

u/FadedP0rp0ise 14m ago

nobody will ever top their music. it’s somehow an extremely familiar sci-fi sound that makes perfect sense and also a sound that nobody really can seem to make as well

•

u/Brentums 57m ago

•

u/Legitimate_Peach9946 4h ago

R.i.P ME5 🙏🏾

•

u/Glass-Category8281 4h ago

Its a tragic shame, and end to an Era. Thank you BioWare for all the wonderful memories. EA doesn't now or appreciate what it cut off.

•

u/Mielies296 4h ago

It sucks. It really does. Silber Lining might be that they wont be able to butcher the franchise as they did with DragonAge

•

u/Ok-Grape1893 4h ago

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

They can never take it away.

I needed this, thank you ❤️🤍

As sad that may sound, i think this is for better, saving the legend from vandalizing. Time for another playthrough.

•

u/solidiceman2008 3h ago

This news really crushes me... This year has been rough...

•

u/Current_Ranger_7954 3h ago

I can even smell my old computer running that game, Godspeed, take care everyone

•

u/sweet-berry-wine 2h ago

The only thing comforting me right now is the realization that it was never going to get THIS GOOD ever again. I enjoyed a few moments here and there in Andromeda, but it still never really felt like a Mass Effect game to me. I think I mourned this series a long time ago. 💔

•

u/Elway09 2h ago

Don’t do this to me

•

u/Edenjal 2h ago

Thanks for posting this OP 😄

•

u/DoggievDoggy 2h ago

I’ve been listening to Vigil all day long.

•

u/Ntippit 2h ago

Every single time. Goosebumps. It’s perfect. My favorite title screen ever (halo 3 2nd) and my favorite song in gaming period.

•

u/Faw602 2h ago

Goat

•

u/Chronos-Ouranos 2h ago

Now I gotta do another run in honor of the game.

•

u/markotza 1h ago

Vigil, man. I still play it from time to time and soak in every single second of it.

•

u/ranfall94 1h ago

That Expanse game seems promising at least for some of that ME charm

•

u/Dutchman_141 39m ago

Or Exodus, some devs who worked on Mass Effect are involved.

I look forwsrd to both games.

I had played the games on the 360 when I was around 14 years old. Truly a special experience. At 14 the ending of ME1 made me applaud my tv and even tear up a bit. It made me realize what games could be!

Years later, when legendary edition came out, my best friend and I were living together at the time. He hadn’t played through them at all, so we got the legendary edition and did a back to back to back marathon of the games. We did every quest, side mission, trophy, and made sure we had the fullest experience possible. Just two university students, shooting the shit (and Geth) and playing some dope-ass games. While my first play though by myself was fantastic, the second play through was truly special. One of my favourite series of games. Wish they got one more before the end.

u/Inc0gnitoburrito 1h ago

I haven't told this in a while, but somewhere around 2018 i was in Calgary for work, and we sat down at this hotel lobby, and i started crying, actually tearing up out of nowhere. My colleague asked me what's up and i told him i didn't know, just feeling emotional out of nowhere.

After a few moments i noticed that the "background" or ambient music in the lobby area was "An End, Once and for All", i did ask how or why, i just sat there and listened to it until it ended, wiped my tears, and smiled.

When i came back home i replayed all games and DLCs, that was the last time i played them, but i played them all more than once - i spent so many hours with Commander Sheppard.

I know people on this thread will understand what I'm feeling right now, as i play "An End, Once and for All" in the background.

ME2 was my first introduction in 2011. I hadn't played the first one and was unsure if I'd like it because a space military genre wasn't really my thing. Wow, was I blown away. The suicide mission (and OST for it) still stands out as a shining highlight for the series. Then the first game blew me away too! Mad nostalgia

•

u/Valkyrie-161 1h ago

When I did my name change for my tradition I picked my last name from this series. It will forever be a part of me and I’m sad that it has come to an end. BioWare gave us so many wonderful stories that I remember to this day. Thank you to all that worked so hard to bring a measure of joy to us gamers.

•

u/Audiblefill 1h ago

I remember being a junior in high school. Got Masseffect and Assassins Creed for myself for Christmas. I remember playing through the first game, having read in a game magazine that the choices I made would have weight. I remember loosing Jenkins. I remember the choice between Kaiden and Ashley. I remember storming the citadel through the Relay with Garrus and Tali. The roling if the credits. The song was by Faunts, M4, Part II. I sat and listened as the credits rolled. I had goosebumps. It was a great story, and and amazing setting. To have been a spacer kid/war hero who got to be earth's first Specter, was a privilege. 07

I refuse to accept it. We will fly the Normandy again at some point. Probably not but I really don’t want to bury the hatchet in this incredible world.
