Where was this posted? I don’t see anything on their official website. Also fuck EA, they could have at least try to sell them or let the studio go independent

It's been confirmed in various outlets, i.e., EA is shutting down BioWare | The Verge

None of the people who made BioWare what it was are there anymore. It was the same studio in name only

Jason Shreiber also reported on X. Article can be found on Bloomberg.

EA is a FinTech company, it's all about the assets - The IPs attached to Bioware are too valuable to let them go, and would be diluted if they went independent and made 'Spiritual Successors'.

If you view their actions through the lens of short to medium (2-5 years) term profit, it all makes perfect sense.

Don't worry, it isn't true, AI says so. And AI is never wrong about these things.

Babe... BioWare hasn't done anything good in over a Decade... EA would have to pay someone to take them away and their "Talent" isn't remotely viable for the Studio to have gone independent.
