She's the most popular LI option(and probably the most popular character overall behind Shepard) with the most content to use from the games and can be romanced by both genders. It's the safest and most popular choice to go with.

Having Liara there frequently will be too expensive with the effects and make up, it with be Ashley

Nah. Asari are super close to humans in appearance. You can find a slew of cosplay that look on point with the games, so unless the budget for the surprisingly small, Asari won't be too expensive. I'd bet they'll be the most represented race outside of humans in the show.

My point about the cosplays is that its so easy to replicate the asari design that even a bunch of cosplayers can do it with no massive show budget behind it. The production crew shouldn't have a hard time making their own. It's a simple design. Idk why you're acting like it's too complicated...

The shows going to have multi millions of dollars in budget. Thinking they won't at least have one of the more basic looking alien designs down especially when it's for one of the most recognizable characters in the franchise is just nonsense.
