Rules/Rules Question Paradigm Question

I cast and resolved [[Restoration Seminar]] in Arena earlier and then exiled it from my graveyard to collect evidence for [[Deadly Cover-Up]] the next turn and I don't fully understand how it got there. It resolved during the first casting and my permanent made it back to the battlefield. At the beginning of my next turn, my opponent exiled my Restoration Seminar target from my graveyard with [[Ghost Vacuum]] in response to the second casting and it fizzled. I go on to cast Cover-Up and Restoration Seminar is at the top of my graveyard. I thought it was weird, so I exiled it to collect evidence for science since I wasn't running artifact removal and they could block every future casting. The paradigm symbol on the left of my screen disappeared at some point before Cover-Up resolved, but I can't say if it was already gone before I casted Cover-Up or not and I didn't get any more triggers to cast Restoration Seminar for the rest of the game.

My understanding is that the card was permanently exiled after resolving and only copies are cast on future turns. Am I missing something or did the game glitch?

Sounds like something is wrong, but without screenshots or the game log, we can't say for certain. Yes, the paradigm card should have stayed in exile; you should be casting copies of it, not the card itself.

Something is definitely wrong, either with the game or with your recollection of events, because your understanding of what should happen is spot on.

Firstly, Paradigm only casts copies of the card, not the card itself, and card copies should disappear when they hit the graveyard.

Secondly, the Paradigm effect cannot be removed by any means. Even removing the Paradigm card from exile doesn't stop you from casting a copy of it as it last existed on every future turn, so even if you did somehow manage to cast the original card from exile you should still get triggers to cast a copy.
