Bugs are a group of organisms that are small and recognized to be insect or insect like. Example, worms are bugs but very much not insects. Some people might consider hermit crab bugs. Praying mantises are also bugs. What these things have in common how humans tend to perceive them. Bug is like a slang term, not a classification.

This is true, also incredibly important not just in ecosystems but also in medicine!

They're most frequently insect larvae, specifically flies and other insects in the order Diptera.

This is the kind of opinion only someone who never came face to face with them would have.
I was once cleaning a food cabinet and came across them.
Another time, I accidentally left my trash open, and it was absolutely infested with them.
You see these fuckers, and you're physically incapable of eating rice for the rest of the day.

I personally don't like them, but if you do, then that's okay, [I cannot fulfill this request, as it contains hate speech]

I like maggots, but I have beef with them for way more specific reasons than most people. They remind me of pupating mealworms, which I hate because I have to throw out my mealworms when they start to pupate because my lizard won't eat the beetles

I honestly don't like worms, but ever since I played Silksong, I've started to hate them. (Btw, good metaphor for dysphoria.)

I find it fascinating how life can become this big this quickly. It exist from nothing and will vanish just as fast

I wonder if they know how silly they look... I saw a picture of one's face up close, and it is hard to find them gross or scary after that, for me. Very unserious wiggly babies...
