🐝 Insects 🦋 This specific carpenter bee

On a hot summer day in North Carolina, many months ago, this bee was sat outside my place of residence, going toe to toe with multiple wasps. He was dedicated to keeping every single one of them away from my front door. He didn’t have to keep chasing them and coming back. He didn’t even live nearby. But he did fight, no matter that. Nobody knows how many he got that day, or where he went after, but i believe he is off somewhere killing wasps in front of random houses with a kill count now in the thousands. God bless this valiant soldier
