I am the only mod here and not very active on Reddit these days. The best way to bring something to my attention is to report it and I get a push notification. We are not the only sub dealing with bot t-shirt posts and I remove and ban them as they are reported. I am one person. With a whole adult life. The young Jack Russell I had when I started this will be FIFTEEN this year. I built this from nothing but maybe it's time to pass it on because I'm sick of the whining from the small amount of keyboard warriors here. On the whole it has been a pleasure to build this community with you

Shes our rescue and we have had her since she was eight. I was in secondary school when we got her and now I'm starting my first ever full-time job in two weeks and shes been theres for all major points in my life in between. I love her so much, she is one of the greatest lights of my life.

Asking for Advice How do I deal with being so scared to lose my senior boy?

He’s 16.5 years old. We adopted him last summer at 15.5 years old. He doesn’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon! He is so full of life!
As for his health - arthritis in his back legs but it doesn’t stop him from running or climbing stairs. He is deaf, and cloudy eyes, but he can definitely see my hand signs and is not blind. He does have signs of early liver disease and chronic bronchitis/cough/collapsed trachea… other than that very healthy and active for his age! We manage all of his symptoms well and he eats like a champ. People are shocked when I tell him how old he is!
But I just know he’s not getting any younger…I can’t imagine life without him. He’s my shadow and sooo affectionate. I love him so much it hurts!
I feel like these past couple months have really put my nervous system through the ringer. He had a couple bouts of diarrhea and a couple ER vet visits… then came home and was literally fine again lol, little menace. it really scares me and I can’t stop worrying about when he’ll die…how it’ll happen and if it’ll be shocking and abrupt :( thanks for reading all this. I guess there’s nothing I can really do except keep taking care of him and loving him as best I can 🥲❤️🩹

Is she a JRT?

We adopted her a couple months back and the rescue seemed to think she was a chihuahua/wiener dog BUT everyone that passes by her on walks and what not, asks if she is a Jack Russel terrier LOL
(second pic is her trying to convince I don’t not need to go to work and can cuddle her all day instead!)
