Hidden deep in Venezuela’s jungle, Salto Duruhuaya is a striking waterfall known for curtain-like cascade over granite rock. Far from the usual paths, it remains a quiet, lesser-known natural gem

Reaching Salto Duruhuaya in Venezuela's deep jungle requires a multi-day expedition involving a long road trip from Caracas, river navigation in small boats along the Parguaza River through indigenous Piaroa communities like Maraca and Cucurital, and a final 1-to-2-hour jungle hike.
There is like a solid 89.6% chance I die of something before reaching the waterfall.

Or a 2 hours one way drive by private helicopter, that’s to my knowledge around 15k euros, and another 15k euros fines and lawyers because it’s only allowed access by foot and approved guides … or at least that’s how the story goes.
So it’s possible to have alternatives, but illegal, expensive and risky.

Op is a bot. But yeah that doesn't seem like many people find it worth the risk.

"Quiet"
That amount of water falling that far is going to be anything but quiet - and in case that wasn't enough theres loud ass music spaffed all over it.
Place looks cool though.

I think by quiet they mean it’s not as hyped as other waterfalls on the area, lesser known.

yeah I figured but also I have a horrible habit of being a pedantic prick

As an editor, I greatly appreciate close attention to wording. Maybe I'm also a pedantic prick....

Even in Salto del Angel (quite probably the world's most hyped waterfall) you most likely will find yourself as the only visitor. The whole area is remote and of difficult access, and there are actually not that many tour providers.

Kill the video editor.
Know what's better than some mid as fuck dramatic music? The sounds of nature.

Lived in Venezuela for 20 years, never had the chance to see this or the "Salto Angel" so sad to think that I might never have the chance.

Does the music come with the waterfall as well? If that’s the case, then going to that waterfall suddenly sounds a million times more annoying…

At quick glance of the preview still shot, I thought those were trees in the jungle.

So to keep it relatively unknown and undeveloped, you plaster it all over the interwebs?

Not for long!
Give it 3 months and it'll be ram packed with tourists with a motorway to the spot your standing in because you posted it here.

The waterfall sound would have been more impactfull without the damn Coldplay tune blasting over it.
