I bet he thinks he's a lap dog.

10

u/Donnerdrummel 10h ago

does the dog wonder why his human doesn't pick it up anymore like he did when it was still a pup?

1

u/thickhardcock4u 6m ago

My boy still tries to curl up and take a nap inside my shorts when I’m sitting on the toilet and they’re at my ankles; he will lay his head in there, but I cal tell he really wants to figure out why he can’t take a nap there anymore.

7

u/Don_Ford 22h ago

Our neighbor has one of these; he is enormous.

356

u/Donnerdrummel 22h ago

and the dog?

97

u/Azuras_Star8 22h ago

The dog doesn't have it's own dog, silly.

24

u/Substantial-Use95 21h ago

A lot of dogs have their own dogs.

19

u/homiej420 20h ago

Get your dog a dog, teach him some responsibility

10

u/Substantial-Use95 20h ago

My dog will not be subjected to responsibility, sir!

4

u/homiej420 20h ago

But it would be so cute!

1

u/Substantial-Use95 10h ago

True. It would be adorable

1

u/Fragrant_Goat540 14h ago

Hasn't that been abolished around 1865?

4

u/95ramencuptower 14h ago

I just went out to the backyard with my dog. Id chill on the porch while she played for a sec, then came over with the bag when she popped a squat.

u/Peach_Proof 8h ago

Back hoe more likely

u/za72 21h ago

My cousin owned one of these massive beasts when she lived in Armenia a few years back... she said she got quite a few offers from multiple drug dealers because they're always looking for massive dogs like these to protect their stash houses

She never sold her dog, it stayed at their village/farm when she moved back to the states

59

u/BalanceRight7768 22h ago

I see one of these across the street from one of my clients houses I work at, I cannot believe how big this fuckin dog is, like it looks huge from 100 feet away.

46

u/momhair_dontcare 19h ago

“That is Caucasian from the mountains of Caucasus” 🤣

18

u/Omnamashivaaya 13h ago

Fun Facts:

The term “Caucasian” comes directly from the Caucasus Mountains, which lie between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, primarily in Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and southern Russia.

In the late 18th century, German anthropologist Johann Friedrich Blumenbach introduced the term Caucasian as a racial classification.

He believed that people from the Caucasus, particularly Georgians, represented an idealized form of human beauty. He used their appearance as part of his justification for naming a broad racial category that included Europeans and some populations from North Africa and western Asia.

The term eventually became synonymous with white in American English.

3

u/MagicShitPills 18h ago

I definitely didn’t know that was an actual place!

7

u/Skrewch 14h ago

Yep. I think Armenia, Georgia, the ....call it lighter shades of 'stahn' suffixed countries that ARENT the Balkans.

Anybody smart at geography wanna turn my answer into something useful?

21

u/Loockybiem 20h ago

Real life Arcanine? Hell yeahhh

14

u/Granny_Skeksis 22h ago

I want to cuddle him so bad! He’s so big and fluffy!

33

u/RazorColla 22h ago

If you had any doubt that dogs evolved from bears, here you go.

21

u/Introvertedotter 20h ago

Kid: I want a pet bear.

Mom: We have a bear at home.

9

u/vain06 22h ago

Big Fren.

16

u/silverclovd 22h ago

That is Arcanine

7

u/coolshow123 21h ago

Imagine the size of the poop bags you'd need for this absolute unit.

3

u/Allegra1120 19h ago

Imagine the size of the backhoe you’d need for this absolute unit.

9

u/Sad-Market-3593 22h ago

whoa he's HUGE compared to the kid's bed it looks like he could barely fit in if he slept in there, also can't imagine how hard grooming him has to be lol. anyways He's such an adorable giant 😍

5

u/HauntingMemory7183 13h ago

Hey dog, how much can you eat in a day?

Yes, I mean, woof

3

u/berettababy69 15h ago

My neighbor has one and it takes up the whole elevator

2

u/Goesonyournerves 8h ago

Owtscharka. My neighbour had one of them when i was a child. That thing was big like an icebear. Ripped of the lip of my bro when he was playing with him in accident. He still has that scar today. But he was a very playful and calm dog, knew him since he was a pup. But he had power...

It was fun to watch him go on a walk with the dog because the dog was more like going on a walk with him than otherwise.

u/Quart83 22h ago

Better question... How much does he poop?!?!?

-1

u/MissNoTrax 22h ago

That's not a better question, it's immature.

1

u/ExampleLittle2672 21h ago

The original question has been deleted but this one is entirely reasonable. I have a small dog who poops multiple times a day, each one only needs a very small bag. Practically speaking, if the dog walker is responsible and clears up, how large is the bag? 😶

2

u/Krazuel 14h ago

Our Rottweiler was often a double bagger at 150lbs, this guy :|

2

u/megaapfel 22h ago

Bigger than a wolf

2

Worlds largest dog breed also means worlds shortest lifespan.

2

u/ManyPossession8767 14h ago

I feel the urge to vacuum watching this video

2

u/Gypsyrawr 14h ago

I need him in my life 😭

2

Would hate to be the guy breaking into that house and seeing Clifford standing right there ready to eat me!

2

He big.

Best dog breed for snuggles 🥰

Imagine the crap coming out that doggo

1

u/IrelandAutism13 6h ago

LSGs are another thing, man. It almost doesn't feel accurate to put them in the same categories as chihuahuas and goldens

1

u/AwkwardCost1764 6h ago

Wolf tries to attack some sheep. Finds this.

1

u/Theodora_the_bird 6h ago

I have allergies just watching the video

1

u/OcelotExcellent3377 5h ago

I am planning to get one of these. Lets see if i will Regret it...

1

u/slightlycrookednose 5h ago

This is a giant creature.

1

u/Jlx_27 5h ago

Not very suitable as a family dog in most cases, they need a property with plenty of outside space, they are guard dogs.

1

u/Jumpingjehosephat99 3h ago

That’s an outside dog.

1

u/Sweet_Ad_2708 2h ago

Big dog!

1

u/Juggernaut8655 1h ago

He's huuuuugggggggeeeeeeee

1

u/roseofamber 22h ago

I want one so bad. I love big dogs and I have experience training. These dogs need a huge area to roam and a job. I wouldn't expect it to be easy.

1

u/pdirth 22h ago

Wow. That puppy's gonna be huge when he grows up. 😄

1

u/rury_williams 20h ago

no need for a heater 😅

1

That’s a fucking bear!

1

u/inthevoidhole 15h ago

There are no original thoughts 💭 first thing I thought was how are they cleaning the poop and affording the FOOOD

1

u/VoidTwinkle 15h ago

If that dog wanted you dead, it'd happen.

1

1

@absoluteunits

1

u/dasphinx27 12h ago

Bro that’s a bear

1

u/Ok_Rain_1837 21h ago

how long do they live?

0

u/DuctTapeJesus 19h ago

And these are extremely dangerous to anyone outside the "herd'. This is NOT a pet

2

u/Abject-Fan-3591 15h ago

Any more factual information on this statement??

-5

u/DuctTapeJesus 14h ago

If you do not know the characteristics of shepherd dogs you must have lived under a rock. However not even going to details you could just use google:

Why They Are Challenging Family Dogs Massive Size: They weigh between 110 and 220+ pounds, making them physically difficult to control.

Strong Guarding Instincts: Bred for centuries to protect livestock from wolves and bears, they are fiercely territorial, independent, and suspicious of strangers. Decide Friend vs. Foe: They make independent decisions on who poses a threat and can react aggressively if they feel their family or territory is endangered. Not for Novices: They require an experienced owner with firm, confident leadership, plus extensive, lifelong socialization.

Not Ideal for Young Children: While they can be gentle and devoted to older children within their own household, their giant size and defensive nature make them a liability around toddlers or unfamiliar guests.

When They Can Work They can suit experienced, calm owners who live in rural or isolated properties with a secure, large fenced-in yard and no heavy foot traffic or frequent houseguests.

4

u/seamustho 13h ago

Lmfao how would knowing the characteristics of a shepherd dog be common knowledge lol. I don’t have a dog so no I don’t know the characteristics of a shepherd dog. I don’t live under a rock lmao

-5

u/DuctTapeJesus 12h ago

If you dont know what is a shepherd dog you are just uneducated. Thats like very much common knowledge. Maybe you should have stayed in school tad longer...

2

u/halo37253 14h ago

Still safer than a pit or rot

0

u/Abject-Fan-3591 14h ago

I did use Google, no need to read all of that nonsense you typed, especially under this rock 😂

3

u/DuctTapeJesus 13h ago

Why is it nonsense? Please enlighten me.

1

u/Abject-Fan-3591 12h ago

After your first comment about anyone not know the characteristics of shepherd dogs blah blah blah...you lost me, that's why the rest is nonsense.

1

u/DuctTapeJesus 11h ago

I know reading can be hard. Next time I'll draw you a picture

0

u/Lexidoge 21h ago

But... why can't we call the dog "white" or better, why do we even have to pointlessly attach race to even our pets?! /s

-1

u/ComfortableNinja88 16h ago

Should be banned

-3

u/Guilty-Newspaper-217 16h ago

It might be stupid but lemme just say it, This vs Tiger?

3

u/Electronic-Buyer-468 15h ago

Male Tigers can be in the 600-700lb range. Yes that's bigger than an African Lion

2

u/PraiseTalos66012 15h ago

200lb dog vs 700lb tiger...... And don't forget that the tiger has much more effective claws and it's muscle to body weight ratio is much higher.

1

u/BoukeeNL 16h ago

A tiger has massive claws, I'd say the tiger wins if dogzilla can't get a good bite in first
