Google searches becoming extremely slow.

All day today whenever I search anything on Google on my mobile device, if I tap on more than 3 or 4 things the entire screen starts lagging, takes 10 to 20 seconds to register anything I'm clicking on including going to new websites. Tried clearing cache, messing with settings, restarting phone. Nothing is fixing it.

Would much rather have help from a fellow human, not a slop machine. But appreciate the suggestion.

Where are you located? The western Europe 2 outage yesterday affected banks and corporate using their cloud services, but I'm Ireland I did not see any impacts to Google's direct services. I think it's meant to be fixed - check if others have the same issue, or if it's with your mobile.

America. Can't find any info on what I'm experiencing at all.

Do any family friends or neighbours see the same?

Nope. Just my device.

Obvious stuff to check is storage - have you filled up the device? Usually theres tools to free up space.

Network you are on - does any other device see similar latency on your home network? In case it's not your device

Settings - other than fully clearing cache and cookies, not sure what you should change. Worst case, back up your phone and do a factory reset if you want a clean start

Done all of the above. Must be something on Googles end.
