My girl did a weird thing today while I was offering water. My worrying brain is trying to make sure it's not something to be worried about. The water was just dripping, I wasn't spraying her in the face.

hello! i am a first time crested gecko owner to this little guy rocky. i just got him less than a month ago and worried that he is a bit thin? i have seen him eat almost every other day, and poop multiple times. i have him on the repashy grubs and fruit and offer him mini dubia roaches which he has only eaten once. he is housed in a 24x18x36 enclosure and i put his food in tiny bottle caps. when he is fully stretched out i find that he looks a bit thin, any input helps!

Hi, I hope it's an ok post to make but there's this little guy that's basically living in my house for a while now, but he doesn't seem really good at it because the first time I had to help him get a hair out of his mouth, and today he appeared again in my bathroom with some dust stuck to its foot, specifically around two of his posterior toes.
Do you guys know any way I could help him loosen it up a bit? It's clear he is having issues climbing, I feel quite bad seeing him like this...
Thank you in advance!
P.S. he's like.. really small. No bigger than 5 cm at best, and has already lost the tail first time I saw him.

I'm really scared of insects, and I'm thinking about having a small gecko who eats insects to help me with my fear. I'm interested in viper geckos or dune geckos and I see people feeding them small crickets or small mealworms but from what I understand, they are both babies... small crickets become big crickets, and mealworms become some sort of black ugly insects and I don't like that I can't buy them every week/month because I don't have any store near me, and online the shipping is expensive, so I would have to breed them.
Can't I give them other food? I've read that fruit flies are good only for babies, but maybe there are bigger flies or something?
It's hard to find information on Google since they just say to give them crickets

It's kinda hard to tell his size in the photos but he is one year old and he seems smaller than he's supposed to be, I saw another giant day gecko at an expo and it was like twice as big as he is. His enclosure is a bit under the minimum but I've been working to get a 24x18x36 enclosure as fast as I can't and I'm super worried I stunted his growth or something by having him in the enclosure he is in currently. I took him to the vet about a month ago for stuck shed and they said that he was 20.2 grams, if he is smaller than he is supposed to be at this age please tell me what I can do to help

I traded my baby boy Oscar last night for this beautiful 2 year old Male Axanthic Crested Gecko.
Oscar was a 4 month 23g f1 GTX Pine. He wasn't too comfortable with me but was licking the air and comfy when they took him out of the tub.
It was a harder decision, but I still have Slimey at home who's living life and pretty cool with the attention.
Maybe it would have changed, but I'm not upset.
I just got my wife a high expression LW so I HAD to get the opposite of her and boy did I find it... If only ax LW. Pics of hers in there.
Throwing in bonus pics of my lil buddy Slimey that I'm keeping

How can I find her asap? Itās night so the lights are off, the window is shut and the door is closed with towels blocking the underside. Iāve left her favorite hide on the floor with a cricket in a cup and a shallow bottle cap of water, itās all in view of her night vision camera. Iām freaking out right now because Iām worried about her and want to find her asap, sheās in a storage room full of crap so itās going to be really hard to search the room for her. Is there anyway to predict where sheās hiding or how to draw her out?

hello! a few days ago on saturday the 17th, i got my crested gecko (first time owner). they live in a bio active tank, 12x12x18 with a screened in top. ive been keeping the temperature an even 73° farenheit, and im running a dehumidifier near their tank, but i cannot get the humidity to go below 80%. it doesnt change in the morning nor at night, so i cant mist, and im worried about causing any breathing issues from high humidity. theres a window air conditioner ive been considering running the fan on and i put some rice in a little bit ago, but i was wondering if theres any other tips? ((edit)) got it figured out! the problem was having the hygrometer at the bottom :) thanks all!

There is a mutual of mine who has a leopard gecko and crested gecko, in the back of her videos her setups are horrendous, looks like a ten gallon maybe even smaller for full grown gecko, also no lighting seen. She constantly posts the gecko and reposts tiktokās about them acting like sheās some good owner and it pisses me tf off. How do i approach this, what do i say. Itās not a random stranger she used to live in my area and knows people mutually so im not trying to cause some big thing, but it really disgusts me i had to block her on tiktok because it made me so angry but i just realized i have her snapchat and i really wanna say something but im debating how to approach this. That poor baby has no heat lamp or uvb in sight and itās heartbreaking .THERE WAS A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER SAT ON TOP HIS TANK WHERE THE LIGHTING SHOULD BEš”š”š”š”š”š”š”

Hello, I am looking to get a Giant Day Gecko as my first reptile pet, and I am looking for some advice and critiques about my approach for my enclosure set up.
I currently have the following:
- Arcadia 18.5ā Jungle Dawn LED bar
- Couple plants from FB marketplace
- Mistking kit from FB marketplace
I am looking to create my own bioactive substrate using: coco coir, orchid bark, horticultural charcoal, worm castings, sphagnum moss, and leaf litter.
Other items I am looking to get:
- Dubia 24x18x36 enclosure
- Arcadia Shadedweller 7% UVB 12.4ā 8 Watts
- Leca balls and garden bed fabric
- Govee Hygrometer / Thermometer
I am also looking to get springtails, cork bark and a heat lamp, and would love to get some advice/tips on sourcing them (brands/where to buy).
My plan is to set up the environment with just the plants and spring tails for a month or two to see how the enclosure goes before adding in a gecko. Any tips / advice would help!

Title says it all. I was first into my building this morning and was shocked to find a little baby gecko in the elevator. Luckily, I was able to get him safely outside without him losing his tail (I assume if he is a gecko, that is a possibility though I am not well-versed in geckos despite how cute I think they are.) What are we thinking thoughāWestern Banded Gecko? Would love to know more about him.

Iām working on improving my crested geckos 18x24 tank. I have fake plants placed till the real ones grow more in and stuff. There is a hide hidden behind the log hide and some fake plants. Any advice is appreciated and thank you for reading. Have a great day!
