I feel like shit
The gay community here in my area has such high standards for looks that even a fit body can't compensate for my shortcomings

Hi all!
With our sub growing and more folks participating, please remember to mark any shirtless posts as NSFW per rule 5. I know it seems silly but some folks browse in places other than home and it is a courtesy to them to have pics blurred if they’re trying to not have their business everywhere.
I’ve been marking them myself when I catch them but I will start removing them instead as there tend to be a lot.
Thank you!

I never experienced my gayasian identity as strongly as I do now. Finally graduating next year looking for jobs , and I’ve never been so pleasantly surprised and touched by the kindness and generosity of so many gayasian mentors in the process. Some of them barely know me, yet they’ve gone out of their way to offer guidance, encouragement, and support without expecting anything in return. For so much of my life, I’ve felt alone in navigating these parts of my identity. I don’t think I fully understood how much representation and community could mean to me until I experienced that kindness myself. I really hope that one day I can do the same for the younger generation coming after me.
And if any of you are reading this, I hope you know that your kindness is changing the lives of young gaysians like me probably more than you realize. For that, I would be forever in your debt and grateful. ❤️
Happy Sunday!

I was just looking into Hiroya, Daniel Zhang, and Andre Chou after watching some videos of theirs. I went on Instagram and saw that Hiroya and Daniel are married, but just like a couple of years ago saw another post that said Daniel and Andre were getting married. Tried to find out what happened cause I was curious, but everytime I search their names it's just 🌽 lol 😆.
Anyone have the scoop?

This picture of Sessue Hayakawa by Fred Hartsook was included in this article from The Guardian. (Great article btw, if not specific to Asian or gay issues.)
I've never heard of him before so I thought I'd share. Strictly speaking not 100% on topic for this sub I guess, as he's straight, I hope it's still ok. I mean, just look at him, what a dreamboat!
Here's some excerpts from his wiki entry:
Kintarō Hayakawa (June 10, 1886 – November 23, 1973), known professionally as Sessue Hayakawa, was a Japanese actor. He was a popular star and matinée idol in Hollywood during the silent film era of the 1910s and early 1920s. Hayakawa was the first actor of Asian descent to achieve stardom as a leading man in the United States and Europe. His "broodingly handsome" good looks and typecasting as a sexually dominant villain made him a heartthrob among American women during a time of racial discrimination, and he became one of the first male sex symbols of Hollywood. (...) He made his breakthrough in The Cheat (1915), and became famous for his roles as a forbidden lover. Hayakawa was one of the highest-paid stars of his time.
And this factoid from his "Early Life" section: While a student, he reportedly played quarterback for the football team and was once penalized for using jujitsu to bring down an opponent.

Which type of guys are you attracted to most and why?
Hello!
Currently on a trip in Europe and I’m finding that it’s been a lot more difficult to meet people to hangout with or hookup. I’m not saying I do fantastic back at home either but it feels extra difficult here. I’ve met some people and they’ve been lovely to hangout with.
Curious if anyone else has had similar experiences?

Hey yall. Headed to Taipei soon and would like a few recommendations for places to get cute underwear from. Also would like to book a massage - not really the happy ending kind, but would be nice if they were hot lol.

Hi all, I'm working through something with my therapist and would love to hear from people raised in India. The context is someone getting ready to come out to his parents back home, but your experiences help whether you're LGBTQ+ or not.
\- Have you disagreed with your parents about something big? How did it go?
\- Did you ever just agree to disagree? How did you both move on?
\- How did you get your parents to treat you as an adult?
\- (*Optional, LGBTQ+ folks)* If you came out to your parents, what helped most?
Thank you, it genuinely means a lot.
