Making every actions of the game as fun as possible!

We try to make every action in the game as fun and exciting to play with as possible.

In this recording, I show how to give cards experience to level them up using an experience shower, and the ridiculously funny behavior of the cable connecting the showerhead to the faucet.

It's achieved in Godot through a simple Line2D and a few maths.

If you're curious about the game, check out our steam page and consider adding it to your wishlist if it... catch... your eyes!

Hey fellow devs!

Sharing another gameplay clip from ReBlade: The Death Spiral, our cyberpunk action game inspired by Chinese mythology, developed by ChillyRoom!

You play as Su, a condemned Synthetic trapped in an endless cycle of death and rebirth. Fight your way through a futuristic city, battle mechanical beasts, and uncover the truth behind the cycle.

We've been working on the combat, enemy designs, and animations, and we'd love to hear your thoughts on how everything looks and feels!

Our first-ever public demo is now playable for Steam Next Fest, from October 19 to November 10!

Feel free to give it a try and let us know what you think!

One play, two formulas: 270 points in AXIOMA — English gameplay

• Upvotes

I'm Samuel, the creator of AXIOMA, a science-themed card roguelike for Windows PC. This 14-second clip shows an actual play with the English interface: combining science cards into two formulas clears the 270-point target.

Build your deck around formulas, molecules and scientific Jokers. If that mix interests you, get AXIOMA on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5308770/AXIOMA/

AI disclosure: generative AI assisted fixed artwork, text and translations, and this English post. There is no live AI generation during play.

New animations in the homebase, new characters, new station UI. I'm in the process of reworking everything to make the base feel more alive. Would love some feedback

I finished my first playable strategy RPG prototype! Now I'm tackling procedural characters and expandable ships.

I've spent the past few months developing This Floating World, a strategy/management RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world swallowed by the sea.

The first playable prototype is finally complete! Now I'm working toward a much more ambitious version, with a procedurally generated crew, evolving ships, and longer journeys filled with emergent stories.

Full disclosure: I've been experimenting with AI-assisted development to help me iterate on ideas, particularly for character modeling. The AI-generated artwork is provisional, and my hope is to replace it with original, artist-created work as soon as I can.

The reality is that I'm a working dad on a close to nonexistent budget, and I just don't have the money to hire the artists a project of this scope deserves. I'm hoping to develop the next prototype into something compelling enough to attract a publisher or other funding to make that possible.

In the meantime, I'd love to connect with artists who might be interested in becoming creative partners on the project. I can't offer paid work at this stage, but if the world of TFW sparks your imagination, I'd genuinely love to hear from you and explore what we might create together.

Here's the full devlog, in case you're interested: https://youtu.be/INrrqsTM718

I'm developing NACOM: War of the Maya, a Maya-inspired Soulslike action RPG built in Unreal Engine 5.

In this first gameplay showcase, I'm introducing the Jaguar Warrior and demonstrating the combat, movement, equipment, and checkpoint systems I've been working on.

Follow the development of NACOM as I continue building the game and sharing new gameplay updates.

SELLSWORD - Demo SNF, come and take a look !

Hey there!

I've just updated the Sellsword demo for Steam Next Fest!

It's a fantasy sandbox RPG I've been working on, where you play as a wandering mercenary trying to find their place in a world full of kingdoms, villages, strange creatures, and adventures.

You can explore, take quests, visit towns, discover hidden places, fight monsters, and slowly build your own story along the way. There's no need to be the chosen hero, just see where the road takes you!

The demo starts in a small village called Lake Town, with a few quests and places to explore.

If you enjoy old-school fantasy RPGs, I'd love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think!

Thanks for checking it out! 🌿

From an empty hangar to full automation in my first-person clothes factory game

You start your night shift in an empty hangar, folding clothes by hand. Then you build conveyors, sorters and machines until the whole line runs by itself.

Feedback welcome, especially on how readable the factory looks!

Our first tree was a box. Adding wind, sunsets and fireflies brought RootWood Ranch to life

In the first version of the game, a tree was just a box. And honestly, I was fine with that.

Then came the first sprites, although calling them sprites is generous. I redid everything and it finally looked nice, but somehow felt lifeless. So I started adding wind, sunsets, haze, fireflies and smoke from chimneys. It finally started to feel alive.

This is RootWood Ranch, a cozy farm in the forest that you can play with friends. If you like what you see, please wishlist it on Steam. It really means a lot to me.

Two machines from my solo factory game, and the same pair in a few paint jobs

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

These are the Smelter and the Miner Mk.1 from Cosmic Scale, the factory game I'm building solo in my spare time. Every machine is built around two paint colors, the white armor and the dark trim, so the pair can be swapped or recolored, which is what you're seeing here. Eventually I'm planning a paint tool kind of like Satisfactory's so you can pick your own colors, but that part isn't in the game yet. Both machines were imported into the game this week, and these shots are rendered in Blender. I'd love to hear which look you'd go with!
