Hot Take Society needs to stop excusing young males bad behavior

Post image

I still hear this kind of rhetoric being used to justify the boys tearing shit up around my apartment complex. If they were girls would it be an actual problem?

and stop telling little girls that being picked on by boys mean they like you. its a horrific implication once they hit puberty

It's a pipeline to abusive relationships.

The adults that teach this to little girls likely want to keep the flow of abuse.  Fuck enablers!

That's what the women in my family told me, then they judged me for being with guys who were mean to me. When I got into my twenties I realized how fucked up that is to tell little girls then judge them for making, what they consider but encouraged, bad choices in dating. Side note: isn't it crazy how many women in families will "help," make other women in families miserable on purpose? Basically women hating women.

Men are capable of calling 3-year-old little girls "dramatic”

They like to start the gaslighting early

I don't think they're any worse than 3 y.o. boys...

I'm childfree, but otherwise, I would have preferred to have a baby girl.

I would have shown her how to become an evil girl first, and then an evil woman later. 😈

I haven’t done embroidery in like 20 years, but it was so much fun! My favorite i did was a donkey on the back of a pair of underwear lol

Do it again! It's so much fun and barely needs money.like I love it so much and doesn't need as much as skill as painting lol. The embroidery sub is also super cool

Fr. So many good and even feminist stuff. Women's hobbies are superior fr I Love that sub. And like I said embroidery is something that takes very little money and can give you so much fun and cool motives

Edit: I love reclaiming 'womens hobbies' like embroidery, sewing and shit like Yes it's a womens hobby!!!!

Interesting that the the "women's" hobbies create things, while men's hobbies tend to create nothing, or tear something down.

I love traditionally female hobbies. Cause it's cool as hell. I love crochet and embroidery cause it's not that 'hard' and a traditionally feminine hobby that's cool. I live getting in contact with my roots like that

Only women are held accountable for their actions, no matter how banal

Growing up my brothers would get away with anything and everything but god forbid I ever stepped out of line or did something reckless wether I meant to or it was an accident

(read in defeated tone but slightly hopeful given the movie's context)

Yes please. It has to start young.

Embroidery is the most underrated way to say something very loudly without raising your voice.

I don't know why I do this to myself but today, I decided to revisit a historical event I looked into previously - the Nanking Massacre and the concept of comfort women. The depravity of what so many of these men did is just beyond words. The massacre wasn't even ordered - it was free reign - infants, young girls, women, grandmothers...etc, none were safe and of course, they also did horrendous things to other men. They went there doing what they did because it was in their nature. I have never heard of events like this involving a bunch of women - it's always men yet all they can say is "not all men" or "boys will be boys." Everyday I just get more and more jaded.

Those bad behaviours stem from not having strong male role models to raise them up and teach them right from wrong, how to be strong and still behave with class.

But society has been demonizing strong family values since the 2000s, wanting to start a family these days is apparently "cringe incel behaviour"

The "strong male role models" ARE the ones teaching them to act entitled and reckless.

And get the fuck out of here with your "strong family values", that dogwhistle is practically a megaphone by now. Just say you think women belong in the kitchen and you hate gays. Acting like that's some kind of principled stance is, in fact, cringe incel behavior.

Not that it even matters to you anyway, you'll never have a family.

Tell me you are an enabler without telling me you are an enabler
