I built Just Remote because our living room had a remote for every box, and none of them were ever where I left them. It finds the TVs on your Wi-Fi and turns your phone into a proper remote for all of them. No ads, no account, it talks to your TV directly over your home network.
What it can do
Finds and pairs in seconds
Open it and your TVs show up on their own: Apple TV, Android TV / Google TV, plus Samsung, LG and Roku. Pair once with the code on your TV and you're in.
A real remote, not a toy
Swipe trackpad, every button, volume and power, shortcuts to your apps. And you can type or paste into the TV from your phone's keyboard: no ADB, no developer options, so it works on boxes that block ADB too.
TV + box as one remote
Apple TV or Shield plugged into a Samsung or LG? Pair them: the box gets the trackpad, the TV gets volume, power and HDMI inputs, and one switch at the top flips between them.
Make it yours
Remote styles (Classic, Media, Joystick, Buttons), themes, or build your own layout. There's also a remote in the notification shade, so pause is one swipe away.

Edit 2: Redeemed your code but the app says "No Pro purchases found"? If your phone has more than one Google account, Google Play checks purchases on the account Just Remote was installed from. Fix: find the account where the purchase "Just Remote Pro (Lifetime)" shows in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history → uninstall Just Remote → switch the Play Store to that account → search "Just Remote" in the Play Store (no links) and install. Pro switches on by itself when you open the app.

Strong with Google TV and Chromecast with Google TV work, they use the same remote protocol as Google's own app. A "regular" Android box works if it runs Android TV (it has Google's Android TV Remote Service). Quick check: if the Google TV app's remote can control it, Just Remote can too. Plain phone-Android boxes without it won't show up, sorry. And your Samsung + the Google TV box can be paired into one remote: the box gets the trackpad, the Samsung gets volume, power and inputs.

Built with a lot of AI help, yes, and I'm not hiding it. But it's not a one-prompt app: it took months of work, five different TV protocols, and lots of testing on real TVs and boxes with people from Reddit. If something doesn't work on your setup, tell me and I'll fix it

This is great but would you be able to add a feature where you have two or three different sets of volumes (for example VL (low) , VM (medium) and VH (high)? My biggest pain with TVs is when, in some movies, the action volume is way higher than the voice so it would be nice to just jump between volume presets and not just have to click mute. Can that be added or is that something impossible with an app connecting to a TV? App looks great by the way!
Thanks, and great idea! It's doable, but how well depends on the TV: some (like LG and Android TV) let the app set an exact volume, others only take volume up/down steps. Presets that jump between your levels are on my list now. What TV do you have? That tells me if it would work for you. And if you'd like a Pro code, add your setup (TV: ... / Box: ...) and you're in.
