ink Getting back into drawing,
Trying to get back into drawing. loved doing it is a kid but as I grew older I became very critical of myself and couldn’t enjoy it anymore. Trying to let it go and draw for fun whilst learning and keeping expectations low. Still struggling to keep at it but sometimes I make a cool drawing I’m proud of, like this one. Not very confident with the lights and shadows, as I mostly just winged it, but overall I‘m happy with it. If anyone has some advice on the drawing or the mentality of drawing itself please leave a comment!

I often find myself over criticising my work it's the most common thing I think. Most everyone starts doing it and it's up to the artist to be able to push through it and put your want to make something that your soul desires to see over the hardwired want for perfection. When your creative side of you brain is so motivated the other is also active and will to grow with you and want to make sure your making the right choices and can start to get overbearing when you get into the nitty gritty and your taking in the drawing. Embrace the learning aspect as well as have fun through out. As you gain knowledge just through just making art and taking mental note walking around seeing real-life workings with lights and such you will see improvement quickly
