Heads up, this guy filmed an ad with a registered sex offender (Vernon Edwards) in Amherst, Ohio (served 8 years, was against a child under 13). The team said it was an accident and pulled it once it was reported on.

They JUST put out an ad (later doubled down, throwing 4 million behind it), where Dr. Amy Acton’s mother calls her a liar.
Amy Acton’s mother, Donna Arthur, sided with the step father who raped her as a child, 9-12, who was indicted in Ohio in 1978. They fled to avoid arrest, becoming fugitives. It’s no wonder she is estranged from Amy Acton. Amy’s brother has come out against their mother.

Note:
I had links in my original post from last night that got taken down, if someone knows why I’d appreciate knowing (I’m going to assume it was automatic because it wasn’t censored but don’t know for sure). I don’t think I’m in violation of the rules

Update:
He’s also been mocking her story for a while, so I can personally understand why she doesn’t want to be in the same room with him. He hasn’t met her, yet continues to call her a liar, mocking her and her brother.

Megyn Kelly, Loomer, Ben Shapiro, and tons of other high-level commentators are defending the ad and further attacking Acton.
JD Vance is still pushing hard for Vivek, dismissing the criticism as “whining” that needs to be dropped to win elections.

Worsened produce quality

Have others also felt that produce quality has really started to deplete over the last year?

About 6 months back I permanently stopped buying vegetables from name brand stores. Places like kroger were at the point that finding red onions that weren't already destroyed or rotting, garlic already turning, and the prices were absurd.

Recently I started noticed even the local and my preferred stores are following suit in quality.

(Edit: I'm aware why, I'm just curious if the average person also sees this, as I am a 'make a restaurant quality or above dinner everyday in the kitchen' type person and don't really stand for quality I can taste is subpar.)

REQUEST S High & Frankfort crosswalk in German Village keeps almost killing people. The city's fix failed. Help get a HAWK signal!

I cross here every morning with my dog. Today a driver ran the beacon while I was in the crosswalk, braked hard, then yelled at me for being in the crosswalk while the lights were flashing orange. Drivers are continuously ignoring the signal, and worse, if someone does stop, the cars behind are confused and try to zip around so then I almost get hit a SECOND time.

I reported it in January (311 case CAS-2839456-Q7W2K6) and asked for a HAWK signal, no-passing markings, advance stop bars, and curb extensions. Traffic Management added striped bumpouts with flex posts and closed the case ("Comments/Suggestions Tracked"). A follow-up near-miss report (CAS-2839473-H8H0V0) was closed too.

Most of the posts are already run over.

Federal research shows HAWKs cut pedestrian crashes 55 to 69%, and drivers yield at 94 to 100% at them. They also stop the one-car-stops, next-car-passes problem. There's a historical precedent for this. Columbus put a HAWK at Rich & McDowell after Traffic Management found it warranted.

I sent a formal escalation today to 311, the Mayor's Office, and Council Member Tiara Ross's office (District 7). I want a HAWK traffic study with a date.

I wanted to bring some attention to a missing person case here in Central Ohio, particularly for anyone in the Columbus, Hilliard, Canal Winchester, Lancaster, or surrounding areas.

Sarah K. Casto, 41, was last seen by Hilliard Police in the Hilliard area on June 26, 2026, according to the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office. A missing person report was filed on October 20, 2026.
Sarah is described as:

Age: 41
Height: 5'0"
Weight: Approximately 120 pounds
Hair: Brown
Her family is desperately hoping someone knows something that could help locate her.

Is anyone else dropping Dr. Ramaswamy as their ENT?

When I was originally referred to her 3 years ago, I was mildly amused who her husband was but didn’t want my politics to interfere with my medical treatment. Especially from someone as esteemed as Dr. Ramaswamy. I had nothing but positive experiences with her and her team during my many appointments and through surgery.

It wasn’t until this past presidential election when her husband became prominently attached to Trump and Musk that I was disturbed enough to consider dropping her.

Now, as she has been actively campaigning and damn near running for office herself, I can’t help but be repulsed. This is especially the case after that heinous ad was released by the Ramaswamy campaign yesterday. What type of human being, let alone care provider who has sworn oath to do no harm, stands by and endorses that message?

Additionally, as some might recall, the footage of her getting told to her face by Iowans that they’ll never vote for her husband because he’s brown lives in my head rent free. Someone so morally bankrupt and thirsty for power who is happy to let people outright disrespect them as long as they win is not someone I want to entrust my heath to.

REQUEST Need helping finding a new job

I was laid off and I just received my last unemployment check. I have a family and a lot of bills. I was working in the tech industry and have filled out probably 100 job applications with different companies all over the US and even a couple overseas. No leads, callbacks, follow ups or anything.

I’m stressing and so is my partner. I need something soon that pays at least $30 an hour. I don’t have a lavish lifestyle, just a couple of teenagers and an expensive house payment. I have lots of experience in data testing, analysis, web and application testing. I’ve worked in retail and the food industry, packaging and manufacturing, and have been in a management position in most of my jobs.

Any kind of job lead would help. Thanks ahead of time neighbors and I hope you’re having better luck than I am lately.

Harambee Christian School in South Linden at risk

Dwell, formerly Xenos, who has been in the news for potentially being a cult, had a very successful school in South Linden. The school's leadership is trying to break from Dwell, but Dwell is charging the school 1.1 million dollars for the building. If the school doesn't raise the funds then Dwell will kick them out of the building, and they have no where else to go. This is all very upsetting as it can really hurt South Linden. The situation has been going on for a while but the Principal just made a facebook post about it. Please consider reading his statement and if you feel it in your heart, partnering with this amazing light in the community.
