🤣

Sorry! That’s why I posted the links in comments below, the video is right up top of the announcement page

You're being released on parole. Don't let it happen again. 😄

Wondering how usage limits will be for this thing

ChatGPT launched their Dots with basically unlimited usage, you wouldn't want to look bad compared to ChatGPT would you guys?

That will never happen and Dots will not be unlimited forever either, that’s a crazy amount of compute to burn

Is Dots still unlimited? I'm surprised. I have been tempted to reactivate my CHatGPT but I know if I do they will immediately take away the unlimited.

I could see Anthropic giving unlimited Duet...to the preview release people...for like a week

Until November.

It’s always been announced as included in your sub’s usage limits

For some reason these conversations remind me of the early mobile days. SURELY THEY CANT BE OFFERING UNLIMITED MINUTES AND TEXTS?!

Fast forward a few more years, we will be paying for AI unlimited plans.

ok so everyone on Cowork had to move to Claude code for some reason.. and now this, what is this? why can’t they add features to an existing product, instead of constantly moving people to new products and then forcing the same people to yet more new products? make up you mind!

They are just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. They desperately need use cases beyond coding but you don't need their expensive models to do this kind of stuff

Because they are vibe coding everything

Yeah. Product strategy is getting weird and wild. I keep thinking of the documentary "The fog of war" as some of this looks like some internal dysfunction leaking out onto the user base.

Let's see how it works compared to dots, and seems like it reuses their projects concept.

How does this differ from cowork?

If it works the same as Dots/Muse/Grok Bot then from my understanding the selling point is that it "has its own PC" and thus can take actions and keep track of things without being tethered to your PC

Ah so Open-Claw on a VM. Got it! Thank you.

Autonomous/semi-autonomous. Claude Code is not.

Not coming to EU any time soon, same as Dots, so utterly irrelevant for us, while Grok Bot has been here since the beginning. I guess it's a case of if you have the money to throw at a problem (regulations, scaling, infra and co), you don't have a problem.

It takes two to tango: Duet - bipolar? /s jk.

Duet - not a bad name. I used CC instances (and OC w codex backend) as named agents for the very long time. Glad to see everyone else join the party. G-d help those of us who are looking for work - now and in the future.
