you literally change servers when you change zones. everything IS instanced

It's worse than that, you can enter a simple cave or an enemy camp and everything get's warped.

Don’t get me wrong, the sharding tech is terrible, but it’s zone-wide. You may have experienced weird respawns.

ive been layered multiple times WHILE IN COMBAT without joining/leaving a group with no pop-up warning whatsoever. whole system is just giga broke

you can get shard transitions randomly still inside a zone. its not super common but it happens.
