I just want to be able to run a few dungeons, be able to regularly find groups and be able to not skip half the dungeon without it feeling like a waste of time, but don't you dare express the opinion that the changes are bad because that just means you're a dungeon spamming tryhard who don't want to socialise.
•
u/Round-Dragonfruit996 20m ago
THIS
Not to mention, I prefer solo questing and that is a hell of a lot less social, that's the sweat way to level. No grouping, no wasting XP, get the RestedXP addon and just quest all the way to 60 solo. It's inefficient without premades for dungeons to get those running and waiting for everyone to get to the dungeon, etc.
I mean I use Guidelime for zones I've already experienced, but same thing. The meta is now efficient solo quest pathing.
•
u/Danul 2h ago
It's absolutely bizarre that the most social way to play the game is not only being made less viable, but is actively being cheered on by a huge chunk of the community. Why? Because Blizzard told them it was a problem? Insanity.
How does reducing the number of viable levelling options result in a better experience for players?
•
u/Spirited_Season2332 1h ago
Exactly. I'll never understand ppl cheering on devs removing options for players.
Like hell, if devs were worried that the open world was going to be empty (which it wouldn't be) then nerf dungeon XP but add a talent to those alt trees that restores it back to its previous amount so you can dungeon spam on alts if you want.
•
u/NegativeAd1432 44m ago
Honestly, using the legacy tree to add back dungeon xp is a pretty great solution. I would be satisfied if at least my dedicated tank/heal alts could get some xp. As it is, they’re not even viable.
•
u/Round-Dragonfruit996 26m ago
Yes! At least that's a band-aid to enable leveling a healing or tanking alt in your preferred style, choices are good!
•
u/NegativeAd1432 43m ago
Honestly, using the legacy tree to add back dungeon xp is a pretty great solution. I would be satisfied with that.
•
u/Sun__Jester 14m ago
Its not about the world being empty and dont let anyone tell you otherwise.
This is to try and put a stop to Mage boosters. A lot of choices made in Forever have been in response to issues the classic era servers had, and Mage boosters were a big one.•
u/Gassenger 2h ago
Because they cant press their buttons, are completely unsociable, are fixated on one, very specific playstyle that is their own, or are on the spectrum. I can't understand why they want it fucked up and are cheering other people not getting to have fun in the way they'd like. Its not like dungeon grinding gives them an edge
•
u/Malohn 1h ago
Cause they're like Esfand. They like the idea of it "Oh big open world, ton of players, socializing around campfires, big 40 man raids. Epic!"
The reality is this, and its a fucking fact.
The world is not big and open, its layered.
There is not a ton of players, its layered.
I've yet to see people talk around campfires, they afk for 1 min. Say "ty" if you pop something down.
40 man is far from epic, be a raid organizer for once in a serious guild and you will not enjoy it very much. But streamers love it cause they dont do the invites.
•
u/Round-Dragonfruit996 24m ago
During the first maybe week of the beta people were chatting around campfires, but yeah it has completely settled into people quietly placing campfire objects and sitting, buffing, saying thanks, and going on their way. Which I don't mind personally, but it is not this huge social thing

The reality is this, and its a fucking fact.

There is not a ton of players, its layered.
- Layering neither removes it being an open world nor the size of the world.
- By virtue of layering being used, there are a ton of players. Beta had a lot of issues because there were so many players. Or are we going to also ignore the open world PvP events that took place in game that had hundreds of participants all at the same time on the same layer. Is that not a ton of people in one space?

u/Round-Dragonfruit996 27m ago
I've been saying this! It's also a form of horizontal progression options, which is important in such an alt-heavy form of the game with the whole legacy system
Like I don't have so socialize with nearly anyone while solo questing, and I actually prefer that. But sometimes I want to run a dungeon, not just once for the quest XP drops, maybe just like to break up questing in the world. But then people are disingenuous as hell because it's way harder to get a group for 2-3 runs of something, people are out as soon as quests are done.
•
u/No_Summer_8782 3h ago
Redditors will unite against you! Then they will quit after 3 weeks of “journeying through the world”

•
u/DanesDraftLab 3h ago
Seriously, the tourists are the ones mad they won’t hit 60 as fast as they’d like so they can raid log for a phase before quitting.
•
u/Gassenger 1h ago
When was dungeon spamming faster than open world leveling in vanilla?
•
•
u/Mjolnoggy 58m ago
It wasn't except specifically in the SM bracket and like 54 - 60 due to lack of quests.
•
u/Intheshadowss 3h ago
People that are against buffing dungeon xp are going to be complaining when all runs are HR to the tank that's only running it once for the quests items.

•
u/NanielEM 3h ago
I think both sides are overblowing this. Right now, doing 2 of the same dungeon with quests will give equivalent exp on forever compared to era. The boosted quest xp will cancel out the poor mob xp over 2 runs. For a single run, forever’s system will be more total xp than era; 2 runs will be about equal; 3+ will be heavily nerfed in forever.
I never really did any dungeon more than 2 times, except for the SM/Stocks/ZF/BRD spam, which is exactly what they are targeting with this change, which is a good thing. It’s stupid to play in the same dungeon for 20+ levels straight and not interact with the world (especially in forever where they added so many quests). But if you want to do WC or SFK or Deadmines twice, it’s going to be about the same total exp when all is said and done. And if you’re spamming those dungeons doing them 3+ times each, you are also the target for these nerfs since you’re not interacting at all with the overworld
•

u/Lars-Redzinx 2h ago
Exactly.
Man the game isn't going anywhere. Who gives a fuck if you don't level fast zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz new topic please. First world problems really•
•
u/MindlessInspector421 1h ago
Idk man. I don’t think the two groups of players are compatible anyway. If I want xp I’m not grouping with people and the people who want to group for over world content will most likely be behind those that would dungeons spam anyway. It’s just king of a pathetic thing to advocate for. “Pwease don’t level to fast it makes me feel so alone”.
•
u/TroubledMarket 3h ago
Why is it “stupid”?
•
u/NanielEM 3h ago
Someone else just commented with a meme that will answer your question. Something like “look at this revamped new world we made for you to play in” and the response being “I’m just going to stay in this room for 20 hours instead”. It’s stupid, and thinking it’s not is disingenuous
•
u/Gassenger 2h ago
Nobody is advocating for staying in a dungeon 20 hours. Probably less than 1% of players do that
•
u/TroubledMarket 3h ago
It still doesn’t explain why you say it’s stupid.
What’s stupid is people like you who think there’s only 1 right way to play the game.
•
u/Fernergun 3h ago
It’s antithetical to the overall philosophy outlined by the people creating the game

•
u/Jasonius 3h ago
There’s no central argument in his comment though. It’s just “the devs said this so it must be right”.
•
u/NanielEM 3h ago
I never said there was 1 right way to play the game? Where did you get that from?
•
u/TroubledMarket 3h ago
You don’t want people to spam dungeons, you don’t think it’s the right way to play the game.
•
u/NanielEM 3h ago
If you did the bare minimum and read the comment, I explained that I was part of the group that spammed dungeons, which is clearly exploity and not what this new dev team wants out of the game. I don’t care how anyone plays, you can do what you want. But dungeon spamming is stupid as fuck, and this is coming from someone who took part of it because it was optimal back in the day.

You raise a good point about having to go and pick up the quests first, which often are at the end of a quest chain. That is one way this change will encourage people to be out in the world.
•
u/NegativeAd1432 29m ago
I traditionally spend about 50/50 time in dungeons and time in the world. I do some dungeons once or twice, but sometimes I might repeat one 5 or 6 times. And I’m always down to do a random run for a guild or. And I might have dedicated tank/healer alts that I mostly just do group content with.
In Forever, those extra dungeon runs give essentially no progress at all. If you got bad rolls, or already had what you needed, getting the normal amount of experience for killing in elite groups was always the consolation prize and made it feel like your time was well spent. The dedicated group alts are just straight up non-viable.
So, people who only ever run once or twice are in a great position. People who are dedicated to spellcleave will just go somewhere else (like the elite strongholds, good luck competing with 4 cleave groups at once lol). And people who repeated dungeons a sane number of times with pugs or friends on top of questing like you’re supposed to just get fucked.

I'm definitely overblowing the side of wanting quests to remain boosted and mob xp low. But it's because they already reverted it back slightly by lowering quests and boosting mob xp due to complaints, and the complaints just won't stop coming. We even have more dungeons and dungeon quests to do, but so many are strangely unwilling to just try the new game first.
And maybe it's because I've come over from hardcore where you can only do a dungeon once per day.
•
u/SimonBelmont420 2h ago
one dungeon per day with normal xp sounds so much better than the nonsense they cooked up for forever
•
•
u/desperateorphan 2h ago
So you want... daily quests in classic.
•
•
u/tycoon39601 2h ago
They reverted dungeon quests by a lot and gave us something like 50% extra of the nerfed dungeon exp. So it went from 100% quest + 20% dungeon to like 50% quest 30% dungeon. No matter how you look at it, the quest exp nerf further hemorrhaged the overall dungeon exp. Now it’s a question of if it’s worth it to run some quest light dungeons even a first time.
•
•
u/Cuddlesthemighy 3h ago
The exp from 40-52 meant that mass dungeons was already a ton of runs. Mara is an incredible dungeon but damn do I not want that process to drag on any longer than it does. Buff questing, don't nerf dungeons.
•
u/ShaunPlom 3h ago
They already had already buffed quests indirectly, by adding more of them and new quest hubs.
•
u/Cuddlesthemighy 3h ago
Cool do it more then. I don't care about buffing questing I just don't want nerfed dungeons.
•
•
u/Dry-Towel-9597 52m ago
This whole thing is so silly to me. Dungeons are FUN. Just let people have FUN. Why make it harder to find people to have FUN with in dungeons? Nerfing dungeon xp is just anti-FUN. Its a video game after all, shouldn't the goal be to have.....fun?
•
u/bibittyboopity 34m ago
Yeah I don't get this part.
We made 9 new dungeons! Why aren't you in the world?!
Mixed signals
•
u/Holymolyolyolyoly 35m ago
You can still get xp in dungeons. The only thing they are changing is that just spamming dungeons is not the most optimal way to get to 60, but they said it wouldnt be that much behind. If you are doing dungeons for FUN nothing changed.
•
u/Zedsdead4 26m ago
Part of the fun is actually progressing in the game. Nobody wants to do the same thing for no benefit. I think the nerf should have been the other way around where it’s 75% exp so it clearly wouldn’t be worth spamming for speed but still viable to just log in at night do 2/3 runs and log off having some progression made.
•
•
u/Kuajinai 3h ago
my big problem with this is the people who ruined dungeons for everyone had an easy fix
they could just not do any dungeons or just do them once
and the players like me that liked to do dungeons because getting rewarded for your time was fun
now that they got nerfed is not even fun anymore because whenever i do a dungeons and getting shitty xp and nerfed blues is just a waste of time now so we just do them once and move on
at least if blizz is gonna nerf the xp make the items good to compensate but no
we got nerfed items and nerfed droprate and nerfed xp
thanks betatesters for complaining and ruining the fun for everyone else
next time if you don't like something just don't do it
•
u/Distinct-Passion-800 5m ago
lmao dungeons were nerfed before the beta even began, the complainers got some of the XP back for dungeons
•
u/Crimsonak- 3h ago
Nobody is mad about someone saying they want exp in dungeons because they want to spam the shit out of dungeons and level fast. That's being honest about the situation.
The people who are angry are angry at the people who come in and say wow I love dungeons so much I do them for fun, they're so fucking fun me and my friends just want to have FUN, then when it's pointed out that you can still do that with or without this exp, they don't respond.
If you depend on exp for the fun, then it clearly isn't the dungeons you're finding fun.
I don't find either dungeons or open world levelling fun. I think levelling is shit. I want to do it whatever way is fast enough. I don't lie to myself and pretend its anything different.
•
u/thai_iced_queef 3h ago
Do you just not understand human psychology or something? The dungeon itself, the rewards, the fun all exist together within the same ecosystem. It isn’t just one thing or another. If I grew up playing a sport for fun, then became a professional getting paid to play it, the one day the management said hey we’re not gonna pay you anymore. Just play with our team for fun because you love this sport so much I probably wouldn’t want to do it anymore. I still love the sport but the money is obviously a major incentive that fuels my efforts. I swear you guys are being purposely dense about this.

u/Heccer 3h ago
I enjoy leveling in dungeons. I played through anniversary for example, I got 4 character to 70, 3 healers and a hunter. I leveled all of them with around 70% dungeons, 30% questing. Never boosted, never cared about cleave groups. I just enjoy healing random dungeons groups, that is my jam. And please don't tell me that "now you can do it more if you like it that much" you know well that argument is in bad faith. I just don't see the point in changing this after decades. I don't like questing anymore, seen it a thousand times. I don't think that they can achieve anything that would interest me. Although I don't have any problem with people who are enjoying that. I don't understand why everyone is so outspoken in the opposite direction.
→ More replies (23)•
u/BitterAfternoon 3h ago
There's two questions here:
- do you have more fun questing or in dungeons? (and those with complaints generally would answer dungeons)
- is it a higher priority to have fun or to make progress? (and those with complaints generally would answer progress).
So they'd rather do dungeons for enjoyment, but it's "wrong" for their priority, and they're unhappy about that. Which is fair feedback. It's also fair if the developers feel their vision requires it as is and people should just adapt to it (one such adaptation being "i don't think this game is for me").
•
u/New_Cardiologist4533 3h ago
What if… doing progress questing in dungeons is fun?
•
u/BitterAfternoon 3h ago
I think I covered that as the basis of those with complaints. That dungeons are fun. Progress is the priority. So Progress in Dungeons is their "ideal" world. But not necessarily what developers want.
•
•
u/Deliverz 3h ago
There’s a difference between it being non-optimal, and it being dogshit.
Getting 2-3 bars for a dungeon, is dogshit. Getting 2-3x xp for killing the mobs outside the dungeon than the ones in it, is dogshit. It feels bad, and therefore turns something that was fun into being unfun because I know that the only difference in xp is this arbitrary instance separating us from those mobs. If they want to disincentivize dungeon spamming, fine, whatever (I still don’t think it’s a big deal) but there should be a middle ground that makes it not feel like a waste of time.
•
u/Arkyja 3h ago
The entire game is only fun because it gives rewards. It's a combination of things. Just the rewards wouldnt be fun and just the content would also not be fun.
How many people do you think would play the game if it was the exact same game but without any of the rewards? You wouldnt level up, you wouldnt get gear, none of that. You could do all the quests that exist, just for fun, all the dungeons, just for fun, all the raids, just for fun. How many people do you think would play the game? No one is the answer.
•
u/TubaStinky 3h ago
Something can be fun but ultimately this is an RPG game and people want the time they spend playing the game to be reflected in having meaningful progress on their character. The argument you’re making here is a little disingenuous.

Have you ever done something and then had one part of that taken away?
It’s human nature to have something watered down and being upset. People DO respond — they say - yes, I can still do it, but one of the reasons I did it is because I could check all the boxes with dungeoning, get xp, blast my new spells, vibe out with friends.
If one of those gets watered down, why would you be surprised that people are upset? It’s not that deep
•
u/zigzagofdoom 3h ago

Even if you did enjoy levelling it gets very very old after the second character and if you just want to get to max level to raid or whatever you’re going to find the cheesiest way to get there in order to avoid it. This seems to be human nature.
I know this because I’ve levelled in every single iteration of classic and original wow and I did it the old fashioned way everytime. I’m very stubborn and boosting feels like cheating.
I had 4 max level SoD characters, 6 max level MoP characters (three of which I had at 60) and every single time it’s a struggle to find dungeon groups to the point I just don’t bother and I keep questing.
This change means people will definitely do the dungeons at least once which is a shit load more than they were doing originally. Also dungeon xp nerf means no boosties.
Anyone wants to come at me over this with your fantasyland theories that people did run dungeons all the time and dungeon spamming/cleave groups were a thing, you never levelled more than a month after a new release. The over-world was also dead and getting groups for elite quests was hard.
It was boosties sitting in whatever dungeon was current to their level and that was it.
I have a feeling these changes are just going to be high level characters running lowbies through the dungeons quickly for gold, that will be the new boost meta, there will be high levels sitting out the front of all the dungeons selling ports and carries. It tracks in line with how humans work and what I’ve experienced these last 20 odd years.
•
u/wiretickler 1h ago
Im just gonna run dungeons for fun as a healer druid and enjoy it, quest a little and go back as much as I want, because at the end of the day ill be doing that at 60 anyway and it will be fun then to XD.
•
•
u/Nievah 1h ago
Hardcore felt alive as it was 1/day only. Up to lvl 60. They said they wanted you out there in the world to build community and an atmosphere.
It worked great, made each dungeon weight more and the loot felt better.
I remember in first classic release when there was a lot of ppl selling SM boosts and what nots, how everyone was doing dungeons instead of questing or being in the world. A race to 60, rather than the journey and RPG element so many speaks of.
Retail is made for the rushing people, play that... I will myself still play it :)
So often you you look at retail and same comment comes up: "WHY IS IT SO EMPTY IN THE WORLD?!" Because this and other reasons like sharding/layering etc.
Making people not farm dungeons nonstop from 1-60 will make the game feel alive and flourishing. It is what Blizzard want, instead of all shut in doing a rush to max.
And money talks, if you gotta spend a month to reach 60, that means they will get another month of sub out of you.

I still don't understand why they didn't just take HC lockout
You can do dungeon normally, normal XP, normal reward. But you can run them ONCE a day
Simple as that. Want to run deadmine 5 times ? Absolutely no problem, you ran it once today, swap on an alt! Work on your profession, you'll be there tomorrow!
It is just so much simpler whatever they came up with around xp redistribution. Don't want spam, put a threshold. Don't reinvente the wheel
•
u/bibittyboopity 30m ago
I feel like it works in HC because if your dungeon goes bad it means you start a new character.
In soft core, you can wipe, have the group disband, and then you're locked out of an unfinished dungeon
•
u/Healeah241 1m ago
people tend to be more willing to give the dungeon a proper go if there's a daily lockout though
•

I feel like they could've just done this, but upped the lockout to 3-5 resets a day. Three runs back to back really isn't insane xp.
Not only would most normal players not hit this threshold, but it would help combat gold farming bots endlessly sitting in dungeons resetting trash packs 24 hours a day.

Then gear up in dungeons and go quest
•
•
u/Reejis99 21m ago
Or better yet, skip the dungeon part, questing is easy anyway! You don't even need the gear!
•
u/Slapppjoness 2h ago
I can't wait for servers to go live and the XP to not remotely be a problem/the majority of players dont vate
So yall can shut the fuck up finally
•
u/Reejis99 13m ago
The exact opposite is going to happen lmao. When the masses get here the situation is going to go nuclear.
•
u/desperateorphan 2h ago
It's already like this in game. Just some really loud and whiny people on reddit. Most people actually playing, don't give a shit.
•
•
u/PeskyAd 3h ago
People strictly questing love blue items too
•
u/Yoyo4games 3h ago
But isn't the common reply that dungeoneers can just do some extra dungeons, to make up for the kneecap?
Open-world quest players can just grind the open world mobs for blue drops! A low, low droprate- often sub 1%- isn't an indicator that open-world quest players are at a gear disadvantage, they just have to grind many more times over, for the same result- just like dungeoneers now have to in their, completely private, instance of that dungeon. Equity sure is great, huh? 🥰🫶

See this guy understands.. One option certainly can't have everything

Yeah exactly. I'm glad you agree that dungeons should stay nerfed.

u/DanesDraftLab 3h ago
Or they can just do the dungeon multiple times and get blues while not being a little bitch about the XP they got in the process…

I've been thinking about the exp nerf and, as someone who was very sad about the amount of boosting (to the point that it was nearly impossible to find non boost groups for a large chunk of dungeons) in era around a year after release, I selfishly enjoy the change. I believe this serves another purpose that doesn't get thought up much: it encourages alts!
Since the ideal way of dungeoning, if you're really hankering for XP, is doing it once to get the bulk of quests and never again on that character that does mean that you're much more likely to do every dungeon (that has quests for your faction) on every character. It kind of elegantly keeps new characters dipping their toes in while blowing up the weird emergent behaviors you get when mass-clearing dungeons is the best XP per hour over time

Unfortunately this will just encourage people to buy dungeon quest boosts from level 60s even more since they don’t get any xp from mobs anyways. Why waste an hour with people your level running through a dungeon just to finish a quest when you can just pay a higher level to clear it for you in 10 minutes?
•
u/EvilLamp 1h ago
it was nearly impossible to find non boost groups for a large chunk of dungeons
That's because nobody wants to do dungeons with you. You think they're going to want to do dungeons with you because they give worse XP? That makes no sense. The real solution would be to incentivize players to run dungeons without boosting and with randoms. This change does not do that. People who paid to have characters boosted will pay a 60 to run them through a dungeon once for quest completion, then continue to not run dungeons with you.
I believe this serves another purpose that doesn't get thought up much: it encourages alts!
This is absolutely wrong. Reducing the ways to level discourages alts. I'm not planning to level a healer because questing as a healer fucking sucks. It sucks even worse when it's a bunch of quests you've already done. If you want to encourage players to make alts, you should give them more ways to level. Not fewer.

I love how the dungeon dude in this meme is framed as all innocent when in reality these freaks are spamming this sub all day every day with the exact same thread over and over again.
Shut the fuck up already.

u/Full_Inflation_9537 44m ago
every single time people turn 30, all the tryhards on the pvp servers avoid STV and go straight to Scarlet Monastery cleave groups until level 45. No matter how much you cry, spamming the same dungeon for 40 hours is not how an MMO is meant to be played. And the devs agree, so keep on crying.
If you really enjoy dungeons as much as you claim... play them. Have fun. It's a game.
•
u/ShadyDrunks 3h ago
Yeah lets bring dungeon XP back up and have the game just be dungeon spam for the rest of its existence in an alt centric game...
•
u/Crazy_Durian_7834 3h ago
What if they were equal? And do what you prefer ? Please don’t force me to loot acorns and wolf meat for 60 levels
•
u/Wait__Who 3h ago
Let them play how they want, and you play how you want. Why is it so bad that people play the way they enjoy and aren’t needlessly penalized for it
→ More replies (1)•
u/FormalSeparate6153 2h ago
It's amazing how many people say this like they've ever played classic before. Dungeon spamming was never the meta.
•
u/rodrigo8008 2h ago
Lucky for you that you get more from the quests now than you did after a few runs before. So you can be indifferent if you want
•
u/Defenestrate69 3h ago
Yall are regarded. The reason the dungeon xp nerf is needed is because during like SoD and classic they had literally lines of people waiting for quest mobs and the mega servers solve that problem… in those releases the sweats were just running SM for like 15 levels straight
•
u/badoosch 3h ago
Doesn't that prove the nerf is not needed?
→ More replies (3)•
u/Defenestrate69 3h ago
No it proves the nerf is needed to keep people from doing it again… the only reason people were dungeon spamming is because the world instances were way too over populated, now that that isn’t a problem they don’t want people just summoning each other to dungeons all the way to 60. They want people to discover all the new quests and zones etc.

Have you played beta? Did you try to get the damp note for BFD quest?
→ More replies (1)•
u/ObiWanIsMyDog 3h ago
You do see the difference between a level capped beta, where everyone was level 20 waiting at the gates. And a normal release in the case of the damp note, right?
You understand the very large difference that creates in player behavior?
•
u/ShaunPlom 3h ago
Of course! But it wasn’t level 30s in the cave, it was other players in the mid 20s also looking for the note
•
u/ObiWanIsMyDog 1h ago
Correct, who a lot of were waiting at level 20 for level 21 to unlock…
•
u/ShaunPlom 57m ago
The cap was raised weeks ago, and my experience was just 2 days ago. Also layers exist? There could be 10,000 in ashenvale or 500, doesn’t matter because of layers.

•
u/ebinmcspurdo 3h ago
so you wanna dungeon spam while reminicing about the old days of questing in the world
•
u/CitronDonkeyKong 3h ago
What if number of mobs killed in dungeons turned into some type of ticket you turned in for a dynamic amount of exp.
•
•
u/BigHeadDeadass 1h ago
It's so crazy how lived-in world Andys just parrot Blizzard's half-hearted talking points about dungeon xp nerfs instead of critically thinking for 5 seconds and realizing dungeon running historically in classic was a pretty inefficient way to level. Never mind the fact that there are a thousand better ways of stopping boosting that didn't involve nerfing dungeon xp to the point of making them irrelevant. It was a total non-issue that they took a sledgehammer to in order to achieve some lofty goal

Here's my viewpoint. I agree dungeons, especially in some level brackets where quests were traditionally sparse, were the way to go. I can even agree that maybe devs needed to do something to get people outside doing content, especially in those level brackets, because the world needs to be alive. I disagree that the answer was to make dungeon mobs give around 20% of what they used to.
I don't stress too much about time wasted. But I certainly won't go in and farm gear to make my leveling journey a little faster when I can spend that time just leveling. The gear, to me is pointless, as it will get replaced. Once I am able to do end game dungeons I'll probably look at gear and start spamming those. As a healer I e traditionally done that around 55.
