I played Lineage 2 from the launch of the NA servers way back when.

After getting repeatedly camped by chinese farmers, and having been told to kill my mom a million times, and essentially getting to the point that you were either going to RMT or quit the game, I quit the game. Koreans and Chinese especially, are "fine" with RMT and extreme grinding.

As far as EQ vs WoW goes, no shit. That is why people played WoW and made it the biggest MMO to ever exist and destroyed the chances of any other MMO to ever be more than mildly successful in NA. There is a level of respect of time that people expect these days, and EQ/Korean games don't have it.

i know, imagine grinding being the only way to level and not being able to quest, these retail andies that hate dungeon grinding would go bald from stress.
